Grand Cru is a speciality beer carefully crafted by Belgium’s St Feuillien Brewery. This extra-blond amber nectar masterpiece undergoes refermentation in the bottle, resulting in a beer endowed with unforgettable character. The secret lies in the unique combination of the most noble hops and the finest aromatic ingredients. Grand Cru differs from other beers in the range by its absence of spices. Its full, white head is light and frothy, and when poured it creates a subtle lace effect. The very pale colour of Grand Cru lends clarity and brilliance to its body.
Grand Cru’s delicate nose is a veritable cascade of hoppy aromas with hints of fruitiness coupled with subtlety and sheer richness.
When savoured, the first sip is light and intriguing. The next impression is one of a slight bitterness full of captivating nuances. When it hits the palate, Grand Cru creates a lingering moment of hoppiness, rounded off by an intense yet pleasant bitterness.

Very light yellow color beer with a white mostly lasting head. Aroma is hoppy and flowery, with some pine, straw and light caramel. Flavor is sweet with honey notes and it drives to a crispy carbonated bitter short end. Body is medium and carbonation is high.

Bottle. Clear straw yellow body with a medium head. Aroma has light spicy yeast, cookie dough and dry citric hops. Sweetish yeasty taste with more dry hops. Feels like an Abbey Tripel. I don’t recall their actual Tripel to be as refined as this. Has active carbonation but it doesn’t feel too sharp in mouth. Kind of predictable and unassuming taste but the beer is well brewed and conditioned. Alcohol is not distracting.

0,33L bottle (from Wine of Galilee, Tallinn). Pours golden with off-white head. The head stays. Aroma is fresh fruits, yeast, citrus, apples. Flavor is sweet, fresh fruits, malt, spices, yeast, citrus, and acidic notes. Finish is sweet, citric with some bitterness and touch of alcohol. Carbonation is rather high and it feels somewhat "dead". Overall: good brew.

It’s a lovely, sunny day, and there needs to be a nice beer in the mix. So time to crack that Grand Cru. Pours a slightly cloudy blond with active carbonation and a dense creamy head that it retains. The nose is soft hay malts, a mild yeasty bite and a little bubble gum. The taste has an awesome fullness of cereal and hay malts, a sweetness that has a hint of cotton candy, mild citrus and a solid earthy yeast that nobody does better than the Belgians. Perfect beer for a perfect day.
