St-Feuillien’s Saison is what the Belgians call a beer of the terroir, a traditional farmhouse ale with all the rich savour of the fertile land of southern Belgium. Saison, a warm golden blonde beer, is a top-fermented classique. Thanks to secondary fermentation in the bottle, Saison has an unmistakable flavour full of rich nuances and a slight tang.Judge for yourself. 750s and 20L kegs only. In first instance, for export to the USA only.

Very good beer. Aroma was good. Pale malt and Belgian yeast. Pour was a hazy medium light gold with a one finger white head that left quickly. Taste was nice and refreshing. A near perfect saison. A little sweet and slightly tart in the finish. The pale malt and yeast let a little stale hops in as it warmed. Finish could stand to be a little less sweet and drier, but good nonetheless. Medium carbonation

UPDATED: JUL 10, 2016 Awesome aroma. Slight funk, black pepper, lemon and a light sugary merangue. Slightly hazy yella tons of head tons of co2. Peppery, refreshing, citrus, this is what I think of when I hear saison. A real Belgian saison not some west coast ipa hopped out version or unbearable assfunk yeast sour experiment. Delicate sweetness with peppery citrus and refreshing. Does nothing to stand out, just does the style justice. Really well done.

Hazy golden beer, with copper hues, and a white head. Aromas of floral hops and barnyard funk. Tastes of caramel, floral/herbal hops, plums, and assorted fruits. Tart, yet sweet, in the finish. Quite refreshing and enjoyable. Thick mouth feel with some cloying sweetness.

Can. Cloudy honey color, lots of suspended particles, and topped with a small white head. The aroma is fruity, apples, and yeast. Rather mild. The taste is floral bitters and faintly fruity sweet. Some yeast and honey. Dry lingering finish.

A true saison and a true Belgian . Fresh and spicy. It has maybe a bit too much carbonation. Flavor is nicely spicy with malts, licorice and Belgian yeast. Easy to drink but has an interesting flavor none the less. Recommended. I’m still surprised there in no Belgian saison in the top 50 on this site.

Light amber and medium-bodied. Noble hop aroma with spicy notes, and a fruity and spicy flavour. Refreshing, lightly sweet taste with all the bitterness in the finish. Overall, a pretty good saison, but not nearly as good as Saison Dupont.

Nagy, tartós, fehér, szivacsos hab, kristálytiszta borostyán szín. Illata kissé savanykás, fűszeres, enyhe gyógynövényes beütéssel. Íze malátás alapon fűszeres, zöld növényes, enyhe keserű, pici savanyú. Kissé pezsgős érzet, komoly test, hosszú lecsengés. Finom, gazdag ízvilágú, kicsit kevesebb szénsavval még jobb lenne.
