St-Feuillien’s Saison is what the Belgians call a beer of the terroir, a traditional farmhouse ale with all the rich savour of the fertile land of southern Belgium. Saison, a warm golden blonde beer, is a top-fermented classique. Thanks to secondary fermentation in the bottle, Saison has an unmistakable flavour full of rich nuances and a slight tang.Judge for yourself. 750s and 20L kegs only. In first instance, for export to the USA only.

Bottle from Markham LCBO A: light coriander, light banana, light pepper, other spices app: hazy pale frothy white head good lacing. T/p: med body with light acidic finish. Fizzy O: borderish belgian blond this saison offer some interesting spicy aroma. Body is a little too ample for my taste. I tend to prefer my saison drier than this. I still enjoy drinking this beer since I’m a big fan of phenolic belgian ales.

Hazy orange, airy white head, some sediments. Fruity, malty aroma. Orange and faint funky notes. Flavour has orange, light caramel and yeast. Mouthfeel is light, seem a little watery at first but it’s really quite flavourful and well balanced. Fluffy with a good bitter bite.

Not bad, not bad. Quickly fading head; no lace. Aroma is the best thing with bread, hint of tang, fruit, wet grain, yeast, bit of funk. Flavor is a little similar to nose, with some sweet, fleeting tang, and medicine in the finish. Light fine carbonation.

Big white head. Cloudy pale amber. Rich aroma and taste. Filling, earthy, velvet palate, smooth, straw. Heavenly. Just perfect.

Can poolside at Tuscany Suites Las Vegas. Nice fruity and bready aromas. Not much head on this apricot colored pour. Flavos improved greatly on the aroma with nice spicy finish under the bread and mild hops nuances. Good saison. Good good good.

Bottle from the LCBO. Pours golden with abundant white head. Caution when opening: when I opened the bottle, sprayed beer everywhere. Aroma of pine and vinegar. Flavour of same, with a significant note of non_hops bitterness in the background. Tastes of same, with some booziness. Heavy carbonation.

On tap at Pinocchio’s, sampled from Dads pour. Pale orange pour, with decent head. Fruity pear aroma. Dry fruity sweetness and a nice funky yeast and peppery finish. This was pretty good.
