St-Feuillien’s Saison is what the Belgians call a beer of the terroir, a traditional farmhouse ale with all the rich savour of the fertile land of southern Belgium. Saison, a warm golden blonde beer, is a top-fermented classique. Thanks to secondary fermentation in the bottle, Saison has an unmistakable flavour full of rich nuances and a slight tang.Judge for yourself. 750s and 20L kegs only. In first instance, for export to the USA only.

St. Feuillien Saison has a medium, off-white head, and a hazy, brilliant (almost luminescent) orange appearance, with very noticeable and relatively large, brown chunks at the bottom. Not much lacing, here. The aroma is of pungent, spicy, horse-blanket, and musty grains. Taste is of all that with maybe white pepper and basil? Bitterness is low. Mouthfeel is medium, and St. Feuillien Saison finishes semi-dry and delicious. No complaints, only plaudits, from me. RJT

Bottle, 33cL. Home. A brown opaque beer with yellow hues at the bottom of my glass. Large creamy white foam, thin bubbles. Good persistence. Aroma of fruits (lemon), spices, bread, herbs : a good compromise between intensity, complexity and pleasure. Medium bitter refreshing, light sweet. Medium body and texture. Soft carbonation. Dry bitter finish. Overall, beautiful, delicious aroma, average but pleasant in the mouth. Oh yeah :)

Pours murky golden orange with an off-white head. The aroma is very bready and rich with light stone fruits - fairly one dimensional. It has a medium smooth lush body with lots of soft carbonation. It starts off with toasty malt, breadiness, spices, mushiness and overripe fruits. The finish has some basement must. Okay saison.
