St-Feuillien’s Saison is what the Belgians call a beer of the terroir, a traditional farmhouse ale with all the rich savour of the fertile land of southern Belgium. Saison, a warm golden blonde beer, is a top-fermented classique. Thanks to secondary fermentation in the bottle, Saison has an unmistakable flavour full of rich nuances and a slight tang.Judge for yourself. 750s and 20L kegs only. In first instance, for export to the USA only.

Bottle from the LCBO. Pours a true Amber, massive fluffy white head, tons of lace. Nose is so true to form, Belgian yeast and spice. Tastes light, sweet, a bit of spice and bitterness.

11.2 oz. can. - Sweet soft yeast aroma that is intoxicating. Hazy sediment filled creamy amber colored body. Faint bitterness bread-like sweetness. Dry to the finish. Soft but bubbly on the tongue.Hint of a citrus like tang in the background. It goes onto a light, sweet and simple finish.

Cheap can@ trailer. Clear golden color with white foam. Nice dusty pils malt, dry Saison spice, light fruit aromas. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Dusty pils malt, mild Saison spice, light fruit flavors____pretty mild for the style---still tasty though.

can. Hazy golden with one finger head. Very mild body with some bready wheat. Even milder spicing. There’s not a whole lot of flavor here.

11.2oz. can. Pour is really beautiful - rich, deep yellow with a thin layer of white foam. Very appealing. Aroma is spicy and fruity with some banana notes, coriander, hay, and yeast. A little bubblegum too. Flavor has black pepper and light soapy, chemical flavors up front followed by earthy, minerally notes. Also some ester/ floral notes in there. Finish is dry with a hoppy bite. Really enjoy the appearance and the aroma. The flavor is also really nice but not quite up to par with the other components.
