3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
11.2 oz. can, consumed on 2-10-14. Tangy aroma features peach, salt, brine, cream, lemon, and apple pie scents. Pours a cloudy gold with a large amount of cream-colored head. Apricot nectar-like appearance. Sweet, creamy, dry, fruity taste features an apricot element. Sweeter and fruitier than a typical saison. A touch of alcohol in the flavor. Herbal finish. Light to medium body. Creamy and soft in the palate. Insubstantial mouthfeel. I with this were a better beer; it would have been great to have a solid, value, Belgian saison in a can.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a foamy cloudy orange with a lot of suspended sediment, pungent fruity aroma, floral flavours with a mild citrus aftertaste. Not normally my favorite type of beer but this was a very pleasant surprise, give it a go.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from Beer Emporium, Bristol. Hazy gold with a decent white head. Slight yeastiness, sweetish malts and a touch of floral hop, before a gentle finish. Good.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
From can this pours an orange gold with a thick head which lingers, plenty of sediment in the glass. The smell is of bread, straw, orange, coriander and a slight touch of honey. Taste is mildly bitter with some sweetness and a fairly light mouthfeel. Very drinkable!

11.2oz can. Unfiltered orange color. Mild, good, but sort of pedestrian. Some herbal tastes, but pretty much a little thin and straightforward. Mild.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
can offering..pours a light to medium amber orange hue..with an immense amount of particles and haze all abound that eventually settle somewhat to the bottom but do stick around..a rather hazy..chunky beer..aroma is ok with traces of citrus spice soaked apricot..mouthfeel is light-medium bodied with a bit of depth from the spice profile typical of the style..getting some coriander..nutmeg..finishes nicely with a bit of density..kudos to any saison in a can...

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
11.2 oz can. I got a floral scent from the beer. The beer poured with a good head. Golden in color and very hazy. It had a bitter taste, but nothing overpowering. Fizzy carbonation and medium body. I’m not a big fan of saisons, but this was a good beer.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Not too funky a nose: just some hay and citrus, and maybe a dash of salt. Hazy yellow with gelatinous suspension. Flavor is more tart than indicated scent wise, although more like a kolsch or hefe than a regular saison. That being said it’s incredibly refreshing, mine is a can but one could easily crush a 750 while raking leaves or something. Basic beer from the heavy duty brewer Friart.
