COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
St-Feuillien’s Saison is what the Belgians call a beer of the terroir, a traditional farmhouse ale with all the rich savour of the fertile land of southern Belgium. Saison, a warm golden blonde beer, is a top-fermented classique. Thanks to secondary fermentation in the bottle, Saison has an unmistakable flavour full of rich nuances and a slight tang.Judge for yourself. 750s and 20L kegs only. In first instance, for export to the USA only.

Pours a clear golden color with a thick white head. Nice aroma of fruity esters, green pepper, hops and farmhouse terroir. The flavor is quite good, there’s a nice harmony between the hops, the fruity esters, the green pepper and the farmhouse terroir. The body is medium with a creamy texture and medium to lively carbonation. This is a very good saison, rustic and well-balanced.

Hazy golden with a big white head. Aroma of fruity yeast and grassy, herbal hops. Dry, bready malt flavour with herbal hops and fruity sweetness. Malt aftertaste. I had hoped for a little more complexity in the yeast character, but all in all, a very nice saison.
