St-Feuillien’s Saison is what the Belgians call a beer of the terroir, a traditional farmhouse ale with all the rich savour of the fertile land of southern Belgium. Saison, a warm golden blonde beer, is a top-fermented classique. Thanks to secondary fermentation in the bottle, Saison has an unmistakable flavour full of rich nuances and a slight tang.Judge for yourself. 750s and 20L kegs only. In first instance, for export to the USA only.

Golden color with white head. Hay, funk, dough, very interesting. Flowery taste, not too sweet, a bit dry. Nice and complex. Reminds me a bit of these malt pieces you get as a snack in some bars. A good Saison.

Keg at Six D Abz. It pours clear golden-amber with a thick white head. The nose is soft, doughy, farmhouse loaf, light fruitiness, spice, cereal and hay. The taste is crisp, bitter-sweet, cereal, grain, toasty, grassy bitterness, bready malts, light spice and straw with a dry finish. Medium body and high carbonation. Crisp, well-rounded and highly drinkable. A classic saison.

Aroma: Smelling of sweet bread, orange, clove and yeast.
Appearance: A hazy brass colored beer. A high white head with small lacing and good curtains.
Taste: Tasting sweet bread, orange, cardamom and peel.
Palate: Medium carbonation, a soft texture. A medium body with a slightly dry finish.
Overall: Soft, spicy, balanced.
Note: Bottle 750 ml at home. Reviewed 2015-03-08.

On tap at le ferrailleur in Nantes. Cloudy yellow color with a small disappearing white head. Classic season with a nice bitter ending.

Pretty good belgiun. Not my favorite style of beer but pretty good. Try it if you can find it.
