St-Feuillien’s Saison is what the Belgians call a beer of the terroir, a traditional farmhouse ale with all the rich savour of the fertile land of southern Belgium. Saison, a warm golden blonde beer, is a top-fermented classique. Thanks to secondary fermentation in the bottle, Saison has an unmistakable flavour full of rich nuances and a slight tang.Judge for yourself. 750s and 20L kegs only. In first instance, for export to the USA only.

Canned 11.2 oz. Smooth and balanced. Fairly crisp and punchy. Malty, a bit of spice, a bit of age is evident. Not bad at all.

330ml bottle from the LCBO in Peterborough, Ontario. Cloudy orange in colour with a large and lingering white head, excellent lacing. The aroma is of yeast, spices, some citrus. The flavour has some candy sweetness to it, light peppery spice, floral and yeasty. Finishes quite long, turning bitter. Very good.

(can, NICE!) Pours a hazy blonde with white head. Aroma is sweet Belgian notes, banana, cereal, pepper and spices. Round palate. Aftertaste is sweet, banana, noble hops, citrus and peppery finish. Overall: Well done. Easy drinking saison.

Bottle. My first go at saison beer. Frankly, I can't quite see the difference from a typical Belgian ale. Hazy orange, large head. More on the sweet-malty side, pleasantly balanced. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Hazy, golden beer with a frim white head. Fruitiness in the taste and aroma, a combination of the fruitiness, a gentle bitterness and a faint sourness wich makes this a very pleasant beer.

Bottle 33cl. Nice golden colour with a big white top. Aroma has fruits and some sourness. The taste is not too complex and it’s bitterness is what describes the beer for me. There’s sourness in the aftertaste which I don’t like too much.
