COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
St-Feuillien’s Saison is what the Belgians call a beer of the terroir, a traditional farmhouse ale with all the rich savour of the fertile land of southern Belgium. Saison, a warm golden blonde beer, is a top-fermented classique. Thanks to secondary fermentation in the bottle, Saison has an unmistakable flavour full of rich nuances and a slight tang.Judge for yourself. 750s and 20L kegs only. In first instance, for export to the USA only.

Hazy golden colour. Aroma of fresh hop. The flavour has a good balance as its sweetness goes well with the light acidity and fresh hoppy bitterness.

Pours a cloudy golden color with an abundant ivory head. Minimal to no lacing noted. The nose is barnyard citrus while the taste is citrus with cereal/wheat notes. The mouthfeel is light and crisp with dry finish. Very enjoyable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

330ml bottle from Alko. Pours cloudy yellowish orange with a white head. Flowery, citric aroma with a hint of barnyard odours. Citric, flowery, fresh flavour with a lot of contribution from the yeast. Some bitterness in the aftertaste.

Pours cloudy orange with small bubbles fighting with the yeast sediments that dive here and there. Reminds me of a lightened and bit hoppied Tripel Karmeliet, with its citrus aroma and it cereal wheaty refreshing yet powerfull taste. Some hops in the aftertaste, but not as much as I would expect - probably in a fresher sample would be different. Still a great saison with a nice price.

Bottle from The Offie, Leicester. Orange yellow, with fast receding head. Dry wheat arome. Flavour is wheat, dry straw, not chicory, some unknown spice ( unknown by me anyway). Very tough, nice Saison.
