St-Feuillien’s Saison is what the Belgians call a beer of the terroir, a traditional farmhouse ale with all the rich savour of the fertile land of southern Belgium. Saison, a warm golden blonde beer, is a top-fermented classique. Thanks to secondary fermentation in the bottle, Saison has an unmistakable flavour full of rich nuances and a slight tang.Judge for yourself. 750s and 20L kegs only. In first instance, for export to the USA only.

Tap at Lizardville RR, not my favorite, a slight tang is right but it doesnt happen at the right place, there is too much going on here to really be successful, guess i’m still not a huge saison fan.

A soft amber ale that is fairly clear with a very light off-white head. There are notes of wild floral on the nose, the body is medium without bitterness. The finish is floral and clean.

Bottle shared with yrcrz. Pours golden and hazy. Malty herbal and spicy aroma. Taste has tons of spice, but not overpowering. A slight fruitiness and a slightly dry finish.

Mild, fruity aroma. Yeasty taste with a good amount of spice. Quite mild but enjoyable.

Very hazy, very Saison-y. But then, I got the last pour from this little bottle, with all the sediment. Aroma is surprisingly rich, blue cheese and yeast with sweet background notes. Taste is full and mild, mainly of yeast (but again, I got the sediment). The other bit: a bit of spice, but still mild. Hard to describe the flavour.

Cerveza rubia turbia, con una espuma pegajosa que persiste hasta el final. Muy fresca, suave, algo cítrica y con sabor a lúpulo joven.

Tallahassee, Fl - Proof Bottle Shop - 750 ml cage corked bottle. Murky medium orange pour with a soft silky white head that sticks around awhile and leaves a bit of lacing. Aroma is pleasant with some soft spicy notes, some grassiness, a small hint of mint. Flavor has some buttery softness, a hint of mild citrus bitterness, some yeasty notes. Thirst quenching and fresh. Nice, thick mouthfeel. Expected this to be good and was not disappointed.

Bottle from Vinmonopolet Storo enjoyed at home
Deep orange hazy, big white head. Smells of dus, yeast esters, hints of spices and bakers yeast. Medium sweet, spicy and fruity, peppers in the back. Medium bitter, nice hops. Quite a surprise this one. Noe expectations but it’s actually very nice. The spice are very nice making it a super refreshing saison

UPDATED: FEB 28, 2013 A hazy orange/golden color with a medium, lacing off-white head. Normal carbo. Flavour is sweet with hints of citrus, herbs and spices. little bitter at Ends with a little bitter. Bit of a "weak" Saison...not my favourite.

Bottle. Pours hazy dark orange, with a massive creamy head. Aroma is a good fruity yeastiness, with a sweetness of apricot and caramel, as well as earthy notes of nuts and wood. Medium body with average carbonation. Flavour is bitter with funky yeast, grain and bread, with an earthy finish. Nice beer.
