3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours hazy golden with low off-white head. Aroma is of herbs, vegetal, candy sugar? Taste is of herbs, vegetal, malt, candy sugar? Palate is medium-high, to my great dismay. Overall: Too old? (a couple m/o). Far from my favorite Saison. Certainly not outstanding, but a decent beer.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
I was really curious to try this beer since I’ve seen it around quite a few times and never got down to trying one. Maybe it was because we drank so much great beer last night but I felt it was kind of bland and "meh.". Didn’t smell that good, maybe a bit of cooked vegetables. Flavor wasn’t particularly good either but I didn’t write down anything so don’t take my words for it. Pretty much everyone around the table agreed that it felt like it was going downhill. Thanks anyway Vincent!

Bottle (750 ml). Thanks Vincent for sharing this one! Hazy yellow with a small white head, no lacing. Aroma of Saison yeast, candie sugar, malt and fruits. Taste of candie sugar, malt, spices and hints of fruits. Mouthfeel is moderately dry. Medium body. Pretty straightforward Saison.

2012: Slightly cloudy golden with good foam and a lot of carbonation. Good spicy and distinct hoppy flavor. Light creamy.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: OCT 31, 2012 Bronze colour with a big white head. Aroma of flora, grass and some belgian yeast. Fresh and a very appealing taste of grass, hay and some banana at the end. Some hops in the aftertaste. A very good and refreshing beer, the best saison I’ve tasted so far!

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Orange to bronze. Lots of white head. Yeast, banana and actually some alcohol aroma. Quite bitter. Some sourness. Good, but not my favourite style I guess.

Yellow with a big head. Light aroma of malt. More malt on the taste. Pretty nice, not that interesting.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Gold pour with frothy white head. Signature st-feuillen yeast aroma, grain not really saison smelling in general quite unique. Taste is yeasty, grainy, almost wheaty. Palate is silky and smooth, medium carbonation.

Pretty good saison. Mild and hoppy with genuine Belgian yeast taste finishing. Very easy and smooth to drink. I finished a whole bottle without even notices it.
