COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
St-Feuillien’s Saison is what the Belgians call a beer of the terroir, a traditional farmhouse ale with all the rich savour of the fertile land of southern Belgium. Saison, a warm golden blonde beer, is a top-fermented classique. Thanks to secondary fermentation in the bottle, Saison has an unmistakable flavour full of rich nuances and a slight tang.Judge for yourself. 750s and 20L kegs only. In first instance, for export to the USA only.

11.2 oz can from "Lifesource" Salem Oregon. $2.99 Poured into a PBR goblet (shock and horror!!!) Hazy light orange coloured ale with a small yet persistent thick white head. Fine fresh yeasty, bready ,rose aromas.,slightly medicinal excellent. Very fine bubbles in the mouth..sweet then slightly acidic, then drying complex and tasty stuff. Lovely mouthfeel for this precise carbonation aids in this. Overall a nice early summer thirst quencher.

Pours hazy orange with a large white head. Smells earthy, barnyard hay, a little spicy, and black peppercorn. Taste is a little bit of cereal grains, a tiny bit bitter, a little spicy, and not all too sweet. Medium-bodied with a wet texture and soft mouth-carbonation, St. Feuillien Saison finishes with an almost banana-like aftertaste.

UPDATED: JAN 28, 2015 75cl bottle. Bottled august 2012. Shared with Mathieu87. Appearance: clear blonde beer, no visible carbonation, stable white head. Nose: oranges, apples, yeast, hops, little sour. Taste: yeast, grains, bread, spices, rather dry. This beer is already too old to drink. It should be consumed very fresh! I remember drinking it when buying it in september, it was better! Re-rate with a fresh sample from the CAN

750 ml bottle. Pours amber with full foamy head. Aromas of malts, citrus, and pears. Fruity and crisp. Flavors of malts, lemons, yellow apples, and light spice. Light bitter finish. Very nice.

Can, pours a hazy golden orange with lots of bubbles and a large head that fades after about 3 minutes. Aroma is fruity esters and light peppery notes, a bit of lemon zest. Taste is heavier on the pepper and belgian spices, skunked hops, dry bitter finish, definitely refreshing.

A - Huge 3 finger foam head on top of a semi hazed burnt orange. S - Dry grass, dusty yeast, spice, hints of earthy citrus. T - Crisp and spicy upfront, dried pears, lemon, an earthy wood-like character, dried floral-like hop spice on the finish. The yeast doesn’t really show on the palate until the aftertaste. M - Spritzy carbonation, very dry, medium bodied. Nice and dry. The yeast is mellow but hits on aftertaste. Very good overall. Serving type: bottle 09-09-2011

11.2oz can. I love that this stuff is available in cans, now ($2.75 each, at my beer store). Mostly clear golden color, that appears hazy with lots of fine particles in the body. Good thin white head. Respectable lace. Medium to bigger body. Smooth lighter carbonation. Kind of bright and crisp texture to it. Fuller body, dry finish. Some citrusy fruity flavors, light pepper spice. Nice light sweet taste, light savory. Solid saison, but the texture doesn’t compare to the classics, in my opinion.

goudoranje kleur, mooie dichte kraag. ruikt naar gist, gras, mout. Smaak: bitterzoet, wat fruitigs, iets bedorven. Goed mondgevoel. Lekker bier.

330ml bottle from Vinmonopolet. Big, fluffy white head. Well carbonated light amber body. Aroma of yeast, pine and summer. Has a skunky hop flavor to it. Quite bitter at once, with a dry, sweet finish. Creamy in the mouth.
