COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
St-Feuillien’s Saison is what the Belgians call a beer of the terroir, a traditional farmhouse ale with all the rich savour of the fertile land of southern Belgium. Saison, a warm golden blonde beer, is a top-fermented classique. Thanks to secondary fermentation in the bottle, Saison has an unmistakable flavour full of rich nuances and a slight tang.Judge for yourself. 750s and 20L kegs only. In first instance, for export to the USA only.

Bottle 0.33l. Pours hazy amber with long lasting white head. Strong carbonation. Aroma is yeasty, spicy, earthy. Aroma is light sweet, medium bitter, fruity notes, medium dry. Creamy mouthfeel with a good bitterness and a sugary aftertaste. A bit less sugar and this would be close to perfect.

33cl bottle @ de Tolly joogipood, Tartu, Estonia. Pours with huge fluffy white head that stays. Aroma of citrus, sourness, sweet malts. Taste of fruity sweetness, orange peel and coriander. Sweet, banana, citrus and peppery finish. Supprised me in the good way.

Canned 11.2 oz. Smooth and balanced. Fairly crisp and punchy. Malty, a bit of spice, a bit of age is evident. Not bad at all.

330ml bottle from the LCBO in Peterborough, Ontario. Cloudy orange in colour with a large and lingering white head, excellent lacing. The aroma is of yeast, spices, some citrus. The flavour has some candy sweetness to it, light peppery spice, floral and yeasty. Finishes quite long, turning bitter. Very good.

Bottle. My first go at saison beer. Frankly, I can't quite see the difference from a typical Belgian ale. Hazy orange, large head. More on the sweet-malty side, pleasantly balanced. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Hazy, golden beer with a frim white head. Fruitiness in the taste and aroma, a combination of the fruitiness, a gentle bitterness and a faint sourness wich makes this a very pleasant beer.
