COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
St-Feuillien’s Saison is what the Belgians call a beer of the terroir, a traditional farmhouse ale with all the rich savour of the fertile land of southern Belgium. Saison, a warm golden blonde beer, is a top-fermented classique. Thanks to secondary fermentation in the bottle, Saison has an unmistakable flavour full of rich nuances and a slight tang.Judge for yourself. 750s and 20L kegs only. In first instance, for export to the USA only.

Bottle 0.33l. Pours hazy amber with long lasting white head. Strong carbonation. Aroma is yeasty, spicy, earthy. Aroma is light sweet, medium bitter, fruity notes, medium dry. Creamy mouthfeel with a good bitterness and a sugary aftertaste. A bit less sugar and this would be close to perfect.

Lekker bier drinkt soepel. Mooie kleur fruitige aroma’s maar ik had wel een wat sterkere hop smaak verwacht zoals op het etiket aangegeven

330 ml can from the fridge of a pal- thanks, Colin! Pours a hazy yellow gold with tons of yeast floaters and a small white head. Notes of straw, musty funk, bready and doughy malts, grass, some fruity esters, a bit of herbs and florals, and a faint metallic note. Light-bodied, with medium carbonation. I didn’t know they canned this, and I didn’t realize I hadn’t rated it. Interesting beer.

Bottle @ home. Color : clear golden blond beer with small carbonation and small white foam. Smell: malt and grassy, small saison finish and yeast notes. Taste: small saison presence, yeast and malt domination. Grassy and floral finish. Aftertaste: malt and yeast.

330ml can, BB May 2015. 6.5% at a BYOB. Unfiltered and dry hopped. Orange yellow, slight haze, sparkling, big dense foamy white head. Aroma is musty, wheat, cardboard. Body is medium, foamy in the mouth, low carbonation. Taste is black tea, chamomile, bread, lager, yeast, lightly floral. Enjoyable. Somewhere in between a premium lager and a saison in terms of flavour.

Can from Rehills, Newcastle. Hazy golden, straw coloured with a malty, lemon, vanilla and zesty spiced fruity flavour followed by a creamy tart lemon finish.

Slightly hazy light amber color with golden hues. Small to medium white head, medium dense, dissipates. Aroma is medium fruity esters, light sulfury notes, candy tones, light phenolic spiciness. Some floral notes too. Taste is sweet, light tartness, honey. Nice herbal-spicy hopiness in the finish. Dry and hoppy aftertaste with floral notes. Medium carbonation, light to medium carbonation. Very very good! :)
