Commercial Description:
This beer has a white, smooth and very compact head. Its pale amber colour is very characteristic revealing a distinctive maltiness. It has a rich aroma with a unique combination of aromatic hops, spices and the typical bouquet of fermentation - very fruity. Secondary fermentation in the bottle gives it a unique aroma due to the presence of yeast. St Feuillien Triple has a very strong and exceptionally lingering taste thanks to its density and its long storage period.

The aroma has apple and a sour twist. It tastes of apples, yest and some spicies that I could not point out.

(75 cl bottle purchased summer 2007 in Helsingör, Denmark) BB 23/08/08. Clear golden color, big fluffy white head. Sweet, acidic, phenolic spicy scent. Spicy, acidic, sweet taste. Alochol is well hidden. Medium mouthfeel, a bit spritzy, low bitterness.

Pours a golden honey color with particles. Very little head and just some lacing. Aroma is very light--yeast and hints of floral. Taste is light...a nice balance of bitter and dry with flavor of yeast and touches of honey. A lot of carbonation. Decent tripel.

Pours dark golden yellow with average white head. Fruity aroma, mostly bannana with some yeast and malts. Slightly sweet and dry. Light body with lots of carbonation. A very good tripel.

Clear light amber with a foamy white head. Big smell is grainy, yeasty, spicy. Light bodied with lots of carbonation and a dry chalky mouthfeel. A dry taste is grainy, yeasty, earthy, not sweet at all. A great triple. 32806

Very light yellow color, hazy with froathy white head that diminishes into bubbles and a white film. Aroma is doughy with lemon, banana, and grass. Flavor is bitter and dry and tart fruits. Overall, very good.
