Commercial Description:
This beer has a white, smooth and very compact head. Its pale amber colour is very characteristic revealing a distinctive maltiness. It has a rich aroma with a unique combination of aromatic hops, spices and the typical bouquet of fermentation - very fruity. Secondary fermentation in the bottle gives it a unique aroma due to the presence of yeast. St Feuillien Triple has a very strong and exceptionally lingering taste thanks to its density and its long storage period.

Magnum bottle(s). Huge lasting white head, little cloudy appearance. Plenty of spices, yeastiness, quite pungent, but rather complex and enjoyable. Very dry finish, after a little sweety warming and a bit prickly palate. Balanced. Powerful. Dangerous.

2 ounce sample at 99 Bottles, Federal Way, WA. White head. Little lacing. Mostly clear body. Melted butter color. Major aromas and flavors include lemon, pear, grape, cloves, other spices. Primary flavor is grape-pear with hint of lemon. Less dry, more sweet, than the other tripels I have had. Great.

Bottle: Pours a hazy deep golden topped by a dense, white, frothy head. The aroma has some nice sweet Belgian malts, sweet and spicy simultaneously. Honey-ish, with a date like fruitiness. Lively, rich mouth feel. Has a nice Belgian malt profile, giving it a solid body. Flavor is honey-ish, figgy, yeasty, and has a sweet nutty character as well, with a balancing spiciness. The finish has an ideal amount of bitterness to make this treat highly quaff-able. A rich, and very appetizing Tripel.

Pours clear and golden with large white head. Sweat and spicy aroma. Plenty of malts in the smell. More spiciness in the flavor. Well balanced. I could imagine drinking this all day ong and having a great time getting aquainted with the floor.

A big blonde beer with honeyed overtones and therefore sweet in a pleasant, moderate way. Quite a tasty treat and above-average.

6 liter bottle enjoyed at Pre-GABF party. Yellow onion pour that was clear with plenty of carbonation and a huge head. Musty sweet floral aroma. The flavor has flowers and a generally easy drinking Belgian yeast profile that is marked with some light spice (kind of like cardamom). Yeasty dark fruit 9like prune). Tasty. Medium creamy carbonated body.

A very nice tripel, this one pours a clear, medium gold. Nose is yeast and spices. Flavors are the same, with notes of light fruit, and full.
