Commercial Description:
This beer has a white, smooth and very compact head. Its pale amber colour is very characteristic revealing a distinctive maltiness. It has a rich aroma with a unique combination of aromatic hops, spices and the typical bouquet of fermentation - very fruity. Secondary fermentation in the bottle gives it a unique aroma due to the presence of yeast. St Feuillien Triple has a very strong and exceptionally lingering taste thanks to its density and its long storage period.

330ml bottle. Amber coloured with a decent off-white head. Aroma of caramel, spice and hay. Flavour started sweet before hints of coriander and cloves. The finish was easy with a touch of alcohol. Enjoyable.

bottle. Amber with off white head, moderate lacing. Slightly sour aroma, nice balance of hops and malt, yeast, fruits. Not as sweet as I would have expected. Quite drinkable, but more subtle than exciting.

Pours a hazy honey color with an off white head. Aroma is malt, yeast, spices, some banana and slight alcohol. Maybe a hint of shaving cream in the aroma. Smooth and somewhat creamy with a velvety texture. Flavor is belgian yeast, some spices, slight banana, and some other sweet fruits. Medium to thin body.

The aroma is sweet with alcohol, malt, yeast, and spice. The appearance is dark gold with an average head. The flavor is like the aroma. The palate is thin. Overall a good beer.

A truly solid triple. with great flavors of wood, fruit and malt, the alcohol comes through at the end and the hops are very mild. however it is very smooth. Worth your time and money

Pours a hazed gold with almost no head out of a 330 ml bottle. Nose is typical: yeast and sugar. Though the sugar is only a minor edge. Flavor is crisp with a slight bitter edge to a larger sweet profile. Kind of tangy a bit in the back of the mouth too. Feel is very high on bubble. A big effervescence in the back of the mouth. Drinkable, yes. It is a smooth tripel. Yet it does not have much outstanding character to speak of. Decent, but no home run.

Flaske. Min ubetinget trippel so far. Frisk og rund. Let bitterhed i eftersmagen men det er med i friskheden. Egentlig bar en nydelse i en af mine absolutte favorit genrer.

750, corked and caged. Pours a gorgeous crystal clear medium straw with fast-rising streams of bubbles and a towering, sudsy, platinum blonde head. Gorgeously nuanced nose of honey, grass, hay, and floral notes. Nice steady webs of lacing. Medium-bodied, fizzy-carbed attack, with sweet flavors swirling up right off the get-go. Elegantly modulated mid-palate with gentle sedimentary layers of all the sweet notes from the nose reprised, combined with a nicely considered herbal hop note for the finish. Proof positive that acres of sugar do not a tripel make.
