Commercial Description:
This beer has a white, smooth and very compact head. Its pale amber colour is very characteristic revealing a distinctive maltiness. It has a rich aroma with a unique combination of aromatic hops, spices and the typical bouquet of fermentation - very fruity. Secondary fermentation in the bottle gives it a unique aroma due to the presence of yeast. St Feuillien Triple has a very strong and exceptionally lingering taste thanks to its density and its long storage period.

750, corked and caged. Pours a gorgeous crystal clear medium straw with fast-rising streams of bubbles and a towering, sudsy, platinum blonde head. Gorgeously nuanced nose of honey, grass, hay, and floral notes. Nice steady webs of lacing. Medium-bodied, fizzy-carbed attack, with sweet flavors swirling up right off the get-go. Elegantly modulated mid-palate with gentle sedimentary layers of all the sweet notes from the nose reprised, combined with a nicely considered herbal hop note for the finish. Proof positive that acres of sugar do not a tripel make.

750 ml bottle. An unclear blonde beer with a big, white and persistent head. Spicy and grassy aroma with some notes of orange peel. Also the flavour is spicy with coriander and orange peel and the sweetness is well balanced. Strong body, spicy aftertaste. A truly good beer and dangerously drinkable.

Clear gold with nice white frothy head, great lacing. Yeasty citrus spice aromas whisp off the brew as well as wheat, apples and other quiet fruits. The taste itself is light, bready and yeasty, but has spicey clovey and floral fruit overtones as well as a firm hop presence and subtle citrus notes. A well balanced and well constructed tripel.

330ml bottle from a Fine Food store at Kastrup Airport. Light orange body, slightly unclear, under a white, whipped egg foam. Sweet smell of fruits and flowers. A candy sweet character also brings flavours of cloves and yeast backed by a touch of liquorice. Soft palate and hidden alcohol. Too much sweetness to make a better score (at home, 07.08.2007).

Excellent Tripel, by far one of the best around. Aroma is hoppy - slightly citrus and spicy. Taste is hoppy and bitter, but powerful and smooth. A proper Tripel, not overly spiced and not sweet, right in there with hop ascendency. The beers are notably different with the corked 750, 1500 or 3000 ml etc bottles brewed at Le Roeulx being far suprior, but I believe the all of Tripelis is brewed here. Superb.

golden pour w/ a thick small bubbled white head, thick carbonation, light visible carbonation. Aroma of white pepper very floral hops, lots of yeast characters some odd spices I can’t identify reminds me a little of a chimay blue from memmory of course some bread as well. Palate is well coated and full. Flavor is very nice typical belgian yeasts, some clove bread, very sweet candied sugars, some complex spiced yeast notes. Very nice.

Bottle. Thanks to Santa. Pours a golden body with nice head. Aroma is pleasant, yeasty, rich smell, slightly musty. Flavor was smooth, nicely balanced, light citrus caramel laying in the back. Very enjoyable.

Pale yellow brew with foamy head and lots of carbonation present. Strong hops presence in the aroma and notes of heavy syrup. Warming malty flavor, big warmth. Bit of a cough medicine undertone. Very unique aftertaste and palate. Not bad, just different. Strong warmth spreading through the head and a deep burn in the chest.
