| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jul 15, 2007 33 cl. bottle. Cloudy amber/orange with a thin head. Aroma of butter cookie malt along with floral hops, pear, white grape, and some musty hay. Off-sweet biscuit malt flavor with a nicely balanced underpinning of fruity esters, spice and citrusy hops. Pretty good tripel. JK (2949), Richfield, Minnesota, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Jul 15, 2007 One of the better tripels I have had in a long time. It is traditional, and not overwhelmed by alcohol or strange spices. The aroma has wheat and citrus, as well as Belgian yeast and malt. Flavor has more of the smae, some coriander as well, sweetness that has the flavor of fruit. Gold color and cloudy. cheapdark (2015), Monacatootha, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 1/5 | 12/20 | Jul 13, 2007 On tap at the Sharp Edge Bistro. I am very glad to have had the chance to taste this stuff. Pour is very similar to the appearance of ubiquitous pale yellow american lager. Perhaps a little hazy, but just barely. Constant micro bubbles rising within tho the initial palate is rather flat. Aroma is gentle sweet flowers with a hint of candy. Taste this and your mouth gets coated on the inside. There is a warm feeling all over. Very refined. The alky content is not readily apparent but it is there. There is an initial slight alky hit but that is immediately taken over by the sweet complexities of this brew. These hgih class brews really put the micro brews to shame. Comes across a little winelike, but civilized. Nice lacing. Never know this was a trippel, smooth and easy to drink. Each sip gives you a gentle love tap nudge on the shoulder that this is +8%. Then it goes away and hides. Finish again is winelike but the alky nudge is gone before you swallow. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jul 9, 2007 Thanks to retro42 for sharing. Hezy yellow beer with a faint white head. Spicy with faint sourness to it. Wheaty body with body with spice and plenty of yeast. Skyview (4018), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 5, 2007 From a 750ml bottle, shared by akevitt, pours a clear golden brew with a heavy bubbly white head that leave a good lacing. Aroma of barnyard yeast, flowery hops, some orange peel and some phenol. Taste is medium bodied, carbonated with flavors of apple, apricots and some peppery spice. Finish has some spice with yeast and alcohol warmth. Theis (3651), Denmark

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 26, 2007 Bottle trappist glass. Pours a nice coudy orange color with a large white head, that lasts nicely. Large orange peel aroma, with some dry bread notes and a touch of spice. Taste is nice large, with fruit and spice but finishes dry. Nicely dry, not as fruity as many triples nor as strong of a yeast prescence. I dig this triple. elektronikfagteknikerlærling (892), kbh, Denmark
