Commercial Description:
This beer has a white, smooth and very compact head. Its pale amber colour is very characteristic revealing a distinctive maltiness. It has a rich aroma with a unique combination of aromatic hops, spices and the typical bouquet of fermentation - very fruity. Secondary fermentation in the bottle gives it a unique aroma due to the presence of yeast. St Feuillien Triple has a very strong and exceptionally lingering taste thanks to its density and its long storage period.

An off bottle? Certainly an okay Tripel, but it is missing something, or maybe has too much of something, namely carbonation. Yes, it is to be expected but this leans towards soda pop. Otherwise a fruity, yeasty above average drink.

This is a very nice beer. The first thing I thought when I had this was that it tastes like a creamy banana shake. This is a very nice triple. Has a very subtle blend of hops and spice. Just overall very well made and decent tasting.

Medium orange color - cloudy with a thin head. Aroma of lemon, pine, oranges and a hint of yeast. Chewy body, nice tripel-like flavor that is fruity, slightly alcoholic and dry.

33cl bottle from Noel Cuveliers. Gold with lasting white head. Belgian yeast aroma. Good fruit. Rose petal. Decent tripel. It’s fine, quite distinguishable as a tripel. I quite like it. Some hop on finish is good and tangy.

Bottle: Real big fruity aroma with apple, raisin, grape, light pepper, and a hint of alcohol. Pours a hazy dark golden-orange with an off-white head with decent retention and excellent lacing. Flavor of raisin, apple, orange peel, and yeast up front. There a touch of toffee in the background. The finish has slight flowery hops and spice with just the slightest touch of alcohol.

bottle from bierodrome, kingsway. Things always taste better when they’re free and this was mighty tastey! Clear gold with dense white head. Aroma of banana nut bread and citrus fruits with notes of coriander and yeast. Taste is very crisp and light - the 8.5% is well hidden. Fruity with malts, spice and a slightly floral edge. Finish is intense with banana, spice and warming alcohol. Damn nice tripel.

6L bottle. The bottle was so big that we opened it and poured the beer into three pitchers. Pours a hazy yellow with a very large white rocky head that lasts and leaves good lacing. Aroma of citrus, sweet malt, and floral hops. Taste is citrusy and light with a slight residual sweetness complimented by a smooth bitterness and slight spiciness. Overall a great triple that doesn’t have the typical banana ester profile which is a nice change of pace.

Excellent. Huge nutty, banana nose. This beer leaves the mouth, towards the stomach, and my palate wants more. It’s good to be a belgian. This beer follows suit.
