Poured golden with a nice white creamy head. Aroma of yeast, fruity esters, and some alcohol. Nice clean medium mouthfeel and carbonation. Flavor was sweet, fruity, with notes of lemon. Mild bitter and spicy finish. Very easy to drink, but I was rather buzzed when I had this. I think this was the beer that gave me the hangover and caused me to sleep in my clothes. luckygirl (1221), Boulder, Colorado, USA

| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | May 25, 2006 Clear golden brew. Nice head, lots of laces. Strong aroma of orange, some pepper in the nose as well as an herb I cannot identifiy (coriander?). Extremely well balanced. To my opinion, its main interest is you can never tell wether it is more sweet or bitter. Flavor is of citrus and powdered sugar (sucre en poudre) and a bitterness of orange peels. Round mouthfeel, easildy drinkable. Very nice tripel.
