Commercial Description:
This beer has a white, smooth and very compact head. Its pale amber colour is very characteristic revealing a distinctive maltiness. It has a rich aroma with a unique combination of aromatic hops, spices and the typical bouquet of fermentation - very fruity. Secondary fermentation in the bottle gives it a unique aroma due to the presence of yeast. St Feuillien Triple has a very strong and exceptionally lingering taste thanks to its density and its long storage period.

Bottle. Spicy, wheaty aroma. Golden colour, stable white head. Looks flat. Flavour starts off dry, and turns a little more malty. OK bitterness.

Purchased in Jan 04. This Triple uncorked easily but took several tries to pour. Some went on the floor too. The carbonation is out of control. Now that things have settled down. This beer looks very appealing. Golden apple juice color with a white head. Smells like a Belgian ale. Yeasty and a bit fruity. The beer has a spicy finish partly due to the excessive carbonation I think. I taste apples, pears and aluminum. Pleasant fruity aftertaste. Something faintly metallic bites my tongue on every drink. I’m not sure if I like it or not. Still, all in all a good beer.

From a bottle this beer pours a bubbly gold with with a fair head. Yeast on the nose with a touch of veggie sweetness. A hoppy spiciness on the tongue with a longer bitter quality than the average tripel. Lively carbonation in the mouth and smooth going down to the belly. Another above average belgian.

Pours a very light golden color bordering on yellow. small head with lots of lacing. The aroma is sweet and fruity. The flavor is bitter (kind of a funk like taste) with a slight hint of sweetness at the end to add to the warming flavor of the beer.

330cl bottle. A golden slightly hazy beer with a huge white head on pouring but this clears faster than expected. The aroma is peppery, lemony and yeasty. It is quite subdued and inviting. The taste is also clean and uncomplicated with typical spicy yeasty tripel characteristics. Very drinkable, seems to go out of its way to be so.

750 ml bottle. Pours a slightly hazy gold with a big head and high carbonation yet is very smooth. Aroma is spicy, yeasty with some leather and pepper. Flavor is light pils malt with a touch of earthy hops and a good amount of spice kick. Very smooth overall and easy drinking.
