Commercial Description:
This beer has a white, smooth and very compact head. Its pale amber colour is very characteristic revealing a distinctive maltiness. It has a rich aroma with a unique combination of aromatic hops, spices and the typical bouquet of fermentation - very fruity. Secondary fermentation in the bottle gives it a unique aroma due to the presence of yeast. St Feuillien Triple has a very strong and exceptionally lingering taste thanks to its density and its long storage period.

07.07.04 750ml bottle. Classic tripel on the pour, beautiful golden orange; massive head; sporadic lace. Aromas are big and fruity; cobweb and earth aromas are more than subtle, I also smell fresh greens (dandelion or arugula) and cracked pepper, maybe some citrus. The front is fast, a big malt punch yields to surprising and pleasing hops dry flavors and body. Hints of fennel in the beers crisp middle. Wonderfully effervescent throughout. Outstanding example of one of my favorite styles.

Honey colored with a moderate white head, slightly hazy. Aroma is floral, peppery, sweet(Light Belgium candi sugar) and yeasty. Flavor is well hopped for a triple, with a slight amount of tartness. Bubbly mouthfeel, balanced finish, excellent beer!

I must have had a bad bottle, becuase it had very off phenolic notes. Band-aid like sourness with a acetyl twang. Will have to get another bottle to try. Bone dry with a rank aroma. smelled like rotted lemons. It was not at all pleasant and like any triple I have had. Cork nearly blew a hole in the ceiling

Clean golden hue with large fluffy head and very good lace. The aroma as hints of barnyard and dusty yeast esters, aromatic hops, bready malts, orange zest, lemongrass, coriander(?), simple sugar, and some phenol. The taste has notes of apricot, apple, orange zest, spice, wheat bread and sublime bitterness, complex but not overpowering. The finish is subdued spice, honeycomb, yeast, and light alcohol bite. This is a very well made brew and almost a summertime tripel, recommended.

Big bubble white head which settles nicely. Nice aroma of white grapes, yeast and wheat. Maybe a touch of spice. Color of apple juice. Flavor has a nice alcohol kick. Clean, crisp and smooth. Light fruit, some malt. Not much hops presence. Expected more in a triple. Finish is warming from the alcohol and clean. Again not muchs hops presence. A very delicious and refreshing brew that is great for the summer even with the hops missing.

I had been aging this beer for about 9 months until now.

I’ve got the proper St. Feuillien’s glass and everything for this beauty. Pours with a most lively Golden straw colored body and a snowy caped head.. appears as a goddess!
The aroma is slightly barnyard.. musty notes of wheat, apricots, cleanly milled grains, and a doughy yeastiness that’s making me salivate! Damn, ohhhhhh damn! The flavor is superb! A sweet note of honeysuckle, creaping jasmine, and blooming spring gardenias, it’s so flowery and alluring! Yeasty and buttery like a warm doughy biscuit, but with a notes of almonds and peaches. SO very fruity..... a truck load of ripe melons jackknifed on a county road and resulted in this marvelous Triple!
Amazingly Delicious!

Normally i do not like tripel so much, mainly because ive had some boring ones like Leffes. The only tripels i like is this one and Tripel Karmeliet. This one pours hazy dark yello, nice white head. Spicy and yeasty aroma. The flavor is also very spicy. I really liked this one.

Again I must say that triples are really not my thing! This one pours a hazy dark yellow body with a foamy white head. Aroma is heavy and spicy. Notes of hay, cheese, pepper and alcohol. Flavor also has plenty of spices along with hay and alcohol notes. Very dry and a little sour. This is a typical triple!
