Sweet aroma of baking bread, cotton candy, corn-syrup laced fruit cocktail, bubblegum, and just a wee bit of alcohol. Sweet enticing flavor, with hints of light maple syrup, pears, and candied sugar. A bit of sweet spiciness adds a nice touch. Lively carbonation, perhaps a tad too much. Finishes strong with the alcohol hidden quite nicely, thank you. Aurelius (2647), Tallahassee, Florida, USA

Flavor is fruity, nice malt with a very nice bitter spicy finish to balance. Mouthfeel is carbonated and lively. Alcohol present but not overbearing. A nice tripel. kujo9 (1077), North Ridgeville, Ohio, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 14/20 | Apr 16, 2004 Medium gold w/a lasting white frothy head. Strong spicy hop, yeasty, and woody cork aroma. Light malt sweetness with very little fruitiness. Very dry flavor...grainy malt, hop bitterness, well balanced, spicy and yeasty; lightly bready with a hop flavor in the finish and aftertaste. Lighter bodied but highly carbonated, warming alcohol with a dry mouthfeel. Very good tripel IMHO, could use some aging to smooth out the bitterness since I like my tripels on the malty side, but quite enjoyable. sayravai (3729), Helsinki, Finland
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Apr 12, 2004 Updated: Oct 31, 2009(Bottled, 0.75l) Hazy golden with large, firm head. Clean aroma with plenty of sweetish, grainy maltiness, only a touch of acidity, and lots of pear fruitiness. Flavor is very fruity, very slightly acidic and alcoholic, with a nice, grainy malt base. Quite full body and fresh palate with low carbonation. Some cellary aroma is brought in with yeast, so I guess this will improve with ageing. Even when fresh, a really nice and balanced summer tripel. fomentateur (110), Chicago, Illinois, USA

Fruity aromas balanced with spicy hop character. Very light bodied and crisp in flavor. Clean finish. I could drink this beer all the time. madsberg (4956), Søborg, Denmark
