3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Frank (2189) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 29, 2004
Very pale and hazy golden yellow. Toasty, almost pilsner-esque aroma. Exceptionally dry with delicate notes of banana, pear, and clove. Soft mouthfeel with gently effervescent carbonation. A refined and refreshing triple.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 FlacoAlto (3506) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - MAR 26, 2004
Pours a clear gold color, and it is topped by a thick white head. Aromas of yeast, alcohol, ginger, apricot, pepper, and dust waft from my glass. This is a pretty good tasting Triple. Lightly sweet with a tongue prickling carbonation. Fruity notes of pear and apple can be found here. This beer finishes with a lightly astringent bite. The taste has notes of pepper, grass, and something I can only describe as a lightly dusted old room type thing. This beer has a certain softness to it that reminds me of vanilla at times. This beer is a bit like flower nectar as well.

Rather highly carbonated and a big head. Fruity, strong aroma, and a taste that matches. A very good triple. Those guys at St. Feullien knows how to brew...
3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 BückDich (5466) - McCall, Idaho, USA - MAR 20, 2004
750: Crisp golden color with a nice white head and lots of carbonation (gusher!). The aroma is spicy with some banana and orange along with the nice smooth pilsner malt background. The flavor is also well rounded, a little to be desired, but still rich and filling along with a zesty/tart mouthfeel. The tail is short and spicy. Good triple, I like.

Textbook tripel. Slightly hazy golden. Small beaded fluffy head. Bittersweet aroma with mild yeast. Notes of grass. Flavour has some great hops and chewy buttery malts. Stinging pepper. Lightly floral (rosey). Clean with a honey and butterscotch finish. Boozier as it warms.
