COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer has a white, smooth and very compact head. Its pale amber colour is very characteristic revealing a distinctive maltiness. It has a rich aroma with a unique combination of aromatic hops, spices and the typical bouquet of fermentation - very fruity. Secondary fermentation in the bottle gives it a unique aroma due to the presence of yeast. St Feuillien Triple has a very strong and exceptionally lingering taste thanks to its density and its long storage period.

Pours hazy pale gold with two fingers of fluffy white head, good retention and lacing. (4/5) Nose is coriander, banana, lemon zest, Belgian yeast, honey. (8/10) Taste is moderate sweet, mild bitter. (8/10) Medium to light bodied, prickly carbonation, dry crisp finish. (4/5) Another really good abbey triple, complete with the with nice Belgian character and crisp dry mouthfeel I look for. Hard to clearly prefer this over the Corsendonk I tried earlier tonight, but it definitely has a more pronounced ABV - which is not necessarily a negative. And under €2 at a corner grocery store. I think I need to live in Belgium for a bit… (16/20)

0.75l pullo, parasta ennen 29.01.2015. Kullansamean värinen, iso vaalea tuhti vaahto. Hedelmäinen tuoksu. Hedelmäinen, aito, makea suutuntuma, hiilihappoinen, kielen takalakeen tarttuva. Vieno alkoholin potku. Jälkimaku snadin kuiva ja hapokas.

aroma is bread and yeast, some maltiness and straw, sweet apricot. pours light orange color between amber and golden. white rocky head disappearing, heavy carbonation. taste is extremely fruity: tangerine, pineapple rather sweet. medium body, not at the level of a trappist tripel lacks body and taste. could use more bitterness to reach more balance. easy drinking, creamy summerbeer in style of la chouffe, but well made and long pleasant finish. bit too easy for me ...

Bottle. Nose is yeast, straw, some cloves, light peach, musty cupboard. A little bland. Taste is too sweet, leading to straw, cloves, bread, a little spice and sweet funk. Mouthfeel is very full. It’s a long time since I’ve had this beer, and it’s not all that great and poor for the style.

Bottle. Pours hazy light orange with small frothy head. Arom of sweet citrus, peper, hops and a bit of an earthy note. Taste is more of the same; spices, acidic and lightly sweet citrus and a bit of a bitter finish.

Big bottle purchased at Zipp’s. Shared with commonshawn and rosskyle. Golden color with quarter finger white head. Aroma is mild citrus with lemon zest present. Taste is highly effervescent with a vibrant mouthfeel. Taste has nice spice characteristics with citrus underbelly. Little malt presence that gives it a backbone of bready feel. Not much of an aftertaste. This is right in the wheelhouse of other Belgian tripels. Really solid.
