Commercial Description:
This beer has a white, smooth and very compact head. Its pale amber colour is very characteristic revealing a distinctive maltiness. It has a rich aroma with a unique combination of aromatic hops, spices and the typical bouquet of fermentation - very fruity. Secondary fermentation in the bottle gives it a unique aroma due to the presence of yeast. St Feuillien Triple has a very strong and exceptionally lingering taste thanks to its density and its long storage period.

hazy orangy gold, big hite head. honey, pepper, and spice aroma with some bicuity malt and a hint of earth. more honey and some vanilla notes in the malt, but not too sweet. peppery yeasty spice leading to a mlidly herbal(grass, dill?) finish. overall very smooth and expertly balanced. excellent.

Bright golden yellow, fluffy head that settles down into a patchwork of tight bubbled foam. . . Light peppery yeast aroma full of lemon zest, pineapple, and fresh flowers that tickle the nose and excite the mind. Very spicey mouthfeel, light orangy alcohol, pears and all manor of flavourful spices mix with bubble gum and cotton candy. A fabulous tripel.

750ml bottle. Loads of fruity esters on the nose. Banana bread, peppery yeast, dry grassy hops. Simple. Pours dark amber with a thick and forever lasting off white head. Mouth filling carbonation. Plenty of bread. Dry and spicy yeast. Some aged hops. Alcohol. Forgettable.

Very estery fruity aroma, with something that smelled like a hint of mint(?) pale gold pour with the usual big Belgian head, fruity malty taste with a definite overtone of candy sugar,a little carbonic bite on the tongue, barely taste the alcohol for a tripel . Can’t remember the last time I had a Belgium brew that wasn’t great

Tap at Barley John’s. Golden and somewhat milky appearance. Crisp and sweet green apple aroma. Hints of almond crème frosting and a sharp tequila accent this at times. Apples also dominate the taste with a tart, slightly sugary affectation. Mild suggestions of sweet pistachios and cashews temper it a bit, but for the most part the green fruit is the single dimension. Palate lacks spark and dials in somewhat outside of the style – bored, slick, and a bit heavy. It’s lost some of its life. Slightly trite, but a reasonable quencher.

Lightly hazy, blond body. White head. Aroma of fresh fruit (peach, apricot, ...), white wine, cara-malt; quite nice, interesting, special. Smooth, moderately sweet, lightly bitter flavour. HAs an odd winy component in the flavour. Easy drinkable. Lacks some character. Nice, but not great.

Very nice tripel. Pours a beautiful golden color with a massive fluffy white head, no hazeyness, and a golden glow when the light hits it. Nose is dry and yeasty with some sugar, and dry wheat. Taste is honey, wheat, bit of sugar, and total dry finish. Very good beer but I like a little more depth in the taste department.
