Commercial Description:
This beer has a white, smooth and very compact head. Its pale amber colour is very characteristic revealing a distinctive maltiness. It has a rich aroma with a unique combination of aromatic hops, spices and the typical bouquet of fermentation - very fruity. Secondary fermentation in the bottle gives it a unique aroma due to the presence of yeast. St Feuillien Triple has a very strong and exceptionally lingering taste thanks to its density and its long storage period.

33 cl bottle in (wet, rinsed) Westmalle glass. Pours bright golden color with lasting white head. Mild aroma of Lemon Poppyseed Cliff Bar. Mild sweet fruity start with awesome spicy dry finish. Medium body, medium-high carbonation. Really excellent. One of the better triples IMHO.

Tap at Lucky Baldwin’s. Did not like this one. Clearish color and a hollow, gamey taste like something bad at Cambridge Brewing.

Update: How did I forget to note the creamy palate? Amazing. Old: What a great spicy flavor with restained coriander. Hugely bright, lively carbonation. Perfect balance--no element is overdone. This is my favorite tripel. Elegant.

Pours a hazed gold with almost no head out of a 330 ml bottle. Nose is typical: yeast and sugar. Though the sugar is only a minor edge. Flavor is crisp with a slight bitter edge to a larger sweet profile. Kind of tangy a bit in the back of the mouth too. Feel is very high on bubble. A big effervescence in the back of the mouth. Drinkable, yes. It is a smooth tripel. Yet it does not have much outstanding character to speak of. Decent, but no home run.

Pours cloudy hazy dark yellow in color, has a huge white foamy head of small bubbles lasting head. Fruity and spicy flowery aromas. Fruity buttery and spicy yeasty flavors. Somewhat sticky but dry finish. Full bodied with lively carbonation full but crisp, clean mouthfeel, alcohol is hardly noticed, a really enjoyable tripple.

Pours dark golden yellow with average white head. Fruity aroma, mostly bannana with some yeast and malts. Slightly sweet and dry. Light body with lots of carbonation. A very good tripel.
