Mogwai (150), Askeby, Denmark Jul 9, 2008 Bottle. Pours a dark golden yellow colour with white head. Aroma is cramel, honey, fruit, flowers and spices. Aroma and taste have strong hints of honey. kiefdog (305), Tampa, Florida, USA Jul 1, 2008 33cl bottle from Total Wine (Tampa, FL). Pours a dark caramel golden color with thick and frothy creamy white head that settles slowly and provides ample lacing on the glass. Aroma is sweet malt, caramel, toffee, honey, straw, grass, spice. Flavor is much of the same with a slight bitterness near and through the finish. Syrupy mouthfeel with a short, tart finish. Interesting tripel. Pompey (12), Longmont, Colorado, USA Jun 29, 2008 Nice tight bubbles with moderate head. Just a touch of malt with little spice in the aroma. First taste of orange blossoms, vanilla and a touch of nectar, lovely fruit without overpowering sweetness. Hops are pronounced in the finish, but just a nice complement to the fruit. Great balance. Good body. Delightful. I could classify this a s a lighter tripel, but can’t. It is lovely and unique. thegreenrooster (1439), St.louis, Missouri, USA Jun 28, 2008 Pour is a bright golden with a large white head. Aroma is a sweet malt with some candi sugar. Flavor is creamy and estery with some spice and yeast. Finish is smooth and no alcohol problems. A fair to average beer as this is pretty light all around but it does make for a easy drinking beer.
