This beer has a white, smooth and very compact head. Its pale amber colour is very characteristic revealing a distinctive maltiness. It has a rich aroma with a unique combination of aromatic hops, spices and the typical bouquet of fermentation - very fruity. Secondary fermentation in the bottle gives it a unique aroma due to the presence of yeast. St Feuillien Triple has a very strong and exceptionally lingering taste thanks to its density and its long storage period.

Bottle. Pours cloudy yellow straw with big off white head and decent lace. Head diminishes to 3mm. Aromas of dough, earthen yeast, aromatic belgo malt, light hop aroma; citrus and spices. Medium body, zesty carbonation - a boosted bitterness balanced with a touch of spice and some caramel and biscuit malt complexity. Finish is satisfying, balanced - earthen doughy yeast character lingering with a light malt sweetness and a touch of spice.

This really improved at cellar temperature. Both bottles purchased at same time but one chilled and one at cellar temp - very different flavours

Flimsy foam, inviting aroma of fruit, malt and citrus. The taste is characterized much of the alcohol, but is otherwise very rich and spicy. There are certainly better alternatives to this triple.

330 ml bottle pours very slightly hazy, light amber with a large white head. Nose is typical estery Belgian yeast but with pronounced spice and ripe fruit. Lots of sweet ripe fruit on the taste. Dries out quickly and then comes back with a long sweet and warming finish. High carbonation and medium body. Great drinking tripel,

0,33 l bottle from drinks-of-the-world.de, 7/1/2016. Clear, golden yellow with a huge (little gusher), foamy, almost stable, white head. Pleasant, fruity-yeasty aroma of banana, citrus, vanilla, peach, pear and coriander. Sweetish, fruity-yeasty taste of banana, citrus, vanilla, clove and peach, followed by a medium long, yeasty-peppery finish with some hops. Medium body, effervescent and creamy mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Solid tripel, lacking a bit of intensity. Quite drinkable despite its striking finish. Not outstanding, though.
