Bottle sample at a tasting at Dancing Camel Florentin. Thanks DSG. Pours shiny yellow with a small head, aroma of honey, butter, corn, flavor of malt, nice bitterness, a bit bizarre, light bodied
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 8/20 nickd717 (3395) - San Francisco, California, USA - JAN 7, 2013
12oz bottle at the awesome Ethiopian restaurant Ghenet in Park Slope, Brooklyn, NY. Seriously, if you’re in the area, go. Clear golden color with a nicely formed white head and some lacing. Honey, grass, and grain on the aroma; rather typical. The flavor is standard, with average sweetness and mild bitterness. Crisp mouthfeel and fairly light body. A fine enough beer for what it is, but come on, I’m a beer snob and I can’t drink this. At least I ticked a rare new country.

At a tasting, thanks DSG, a little hazy gold colour, sawn wood and cardboard with a hint of spice, coarse bitterness but otherwise quite diluted with a light sweetness and a touch of nuttiness. Just bad.

33 cL bottle at the Animal Kingdom. Pours gold with a thin, off-white head. Smells of wet grass, corn, and caramel. The flavor is sweet and mildly bitter. The mouthfeel is light to medium, smooth, and clean. Overall, this is a surprisingly flavorful lager, and relatively easy to drink. Not that bad.

330 ml bottle. This beer is mild and not very flavour intensive. But it’s still good, very enjoyable

Bottle. Basically no head, clear light regular pale lager yellow. Sweet corn, lots of green veg, and a chemical aroma. Flavor is thankfully less oppressive than the aroma with a weird sweet-sour grassy quality. Thin and watery body.
