330 ml bottle. This beer is mild and not very flavour intensive. But itís still good, very enjoyable

Huge white head. Clear golden colour. Fruity bitter aroma. Pleasant taste. Spicy palate. Good one!

Bottle. Basically no head, clear light regular pale lager yellow. Sweet corn, lots of green veg, and a chemical aroma. Flavor is thankfully less oppressive than the aroma with a weird sweet-sour grassy quality. Thin and watery body.

Draft in Addis Ababa. Amber pour. Slightly malty nose and taste. Typical quaffing macro beer that is a touch above some of the others available.

Jur (260) - NETHERLANDS - AUG 13, 2012
Draught @ Sheraton Addis. I always dread trying the local beers in Africa, but letís try at least one. It pours very pale, with little foam. Thereís hardly any nose, but al least itís fresh. Palate is flat, taste the corn, some wet cardboard. Hardly any bitters. Better than drinking the water I guess...

8/10/12. 12oz bottle from the gas station by my house - Stop N Shop or something of that sort - itís a Sunoco. Clear golden pour with a small soapy white head. Light corn chips and pale malts in the aroma with a sweet corny flavor as well. Not nearly as bad as the last two Ethiopia beers I just cracked.

Bottle. Pours a clear pale yellowish gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma is mainly sweet grain and corn without much of a hop profile. Flavor is light up front with sweet grain that is joined by corn that has a mellow finish.

Bov (9335) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - MAY 27, 2012
from Bier-Bienne - translucide pale golden beer with a poor head retention; aroma of plastic, corn and solvent; moderate malt backbone and pretty tart; very harsh bitterness and a rough corny and paperboard-like finish - urgh !

GodOfThunder (1247) - Orlando, Florida, USA - APR 26, 2012
Bottle at Nile Ethiopian Restaurant, Orlando. Pours pale and clear. Aroma of corn, and a little cardboard. Flavor isnít offensive. Pretty typical, and exactly what you would expect. Actually, a little more fresh than I was expecting, but very little character in any area. Lots of corn.

1st Beer in my random tasting evening of 12 Aug 2011. The brown 33cl bottle (best before 11/2011) was poured into a íPaderborner Pilsnerí badged stemmed flute. Regular lager look, clean, clear, light golden body, crowned with a snowy white head of bubbles, the head left some good lacing on the flute. Sadly it went down hill somewhat after the initial pour and stare. The smell was of wet cardboard, some dried cut grass and rotting grains. The taste wasnít there, it was bland and boring, even by ímass producedí lager/pilsner standards. This is my second beer from this brewery and most likely my last. Usual lager spritzy carbonisation, but being tasteless it was just like a fizzy thirst quenching watery pop rather than a refreshing beer.
