2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Rating #957 - February 7, 2014. $4.29 for a 330ml bottle from Sherbrooke 4.5%. Bought this for the country tick, #letsbehonest. Aroma is cereal grains, corn, light hoppy whiff. Taste is more of the same, grainy, bland, and bubbly. Medium-strong carbonation. Nothing to excite in the finish.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Looks like a light beer. Microhead stayed to the bottom, as little lacing. Flavour was a little wheaty, corny, malty, but average tasty. helped me knock off a country.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle to pint glass
Aroma of wheat, bread, black pepper, and light yeast. Crystal clear yellow with moderate carbonation and a thin mottled white head. Taste is apple, wheat, and yeast. It’s also a tad chalky. This isn’t too complex, or exciting, but seems okay.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 9/20
I’m pretty sure this is bittered with gesho, not hops. It has that signature earthy Woody almost tea - like flavor. A simple, unexciting beer, but a nice twist with a signature local ingredient. Drank in bottle in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Thanks to my friend dimi for bringing this back to me. Pours a clear pale with one finger head leaving small lacing. Toasted malt. Hint of sweet. Hint of bitter. Light clean herbal hop character . Medium to light bodied with moderate carbonation. Medium finish that is bitter. Pretty decent for the style.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
330ml brown bottle. Pours clear gold, small white cap, even some lace rings. Nose has grain and dough and a bit of sweetness. The beer tastes grainy, a bit of leafy hops. Aftertaste is grassy, very low bitterness. Typical light body and high carbonation. Pretty generic but not offensive or flawed.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle from Beers of Europe. Poured a clear medium amber with a thin broken white head. The aroma is dry malt and a little yeast. The flavour is medium to weak bitter with a weak watery hop rather medicinal palate. Light bodied with average carbonation. I won’t be spending much time in Ethiopia !

Very thin white head. Clear golden pour. A bland boring lager.
