seymour (1478) - Maplewood, Missouri, USA - OCT 20, 2011
Tasted from bottle into standard pint glass at Ethiopian restaurant. Poured a clear straw color with creamy white foam, somewhat lasting, little lace. Typical mass-produced light lager aromas and flavors. Fine, better than most American adjunct versions, but not great. I will say it goes great with spicy African food, though!

11oz bottle. clear white with small white head. incredibly pale nose. flavor is also pale, light. dry finish. really fluffy and light like cottonballs. hint of sprite. cool dragon slayer label. lighter, crisper, snappier and more refreshing than most of the american macros.

fiulijn (15330) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 29, 2011
Bottle from Le Nil Bleu, Ethiopian restaurant in Lausanne
Blond color; poor head. The arom ais very light, with some malt and cereals. The body is weak, the mouthfeel is dry; there is very light flavor; the bitterness is quite low. The final is a bit metallic and corn-ish. Poor.

Koelschtrinker (11060) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - JUN 7, 2011
Leicht säuerlicher Apfelgeruch. Milder Antrunk, leicht getreidig, säuerlich. Angedeutet hopfig, dies wirkt aber ziemlich billig. Erfrischend, im Abgang getreidiger und plörriger. Test vom 12.8.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 8,6,6,6,9,6 - 6,35

Bierkrug (2133) - - JUN 2, 2011
On tap in the Airport in Ethiopia. This was better than most African pale lagers. Pours a gold with a small head. Aroma has some good notes to it as well Taste is a bit corny but over all it is not that bad.

JoeMcPhee (8569) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 26, 2011
Pale golden pour. Fresh pale malt. Low bitterness but the malt is fairly expressive. Light and simple, but not terribly bland. Softly sweet. It works for what it’s intended.

Powertrip (999) - Calgary, Alberta, CANADA - MAR 1, 2011
Single bottle purchased from Silver Springs Wine & Spirits in Calgary, AB on 02/28/2011. Colour: Dark yellow with medium height but quickly fading and spotty head. Nose: Pear and apricot immediately, yeast develops and then more fruit. Honey late. Taste: Light sweet, light bitter, light sour. Delicate and quiet. Some vanilla notes float about, and even a trace of green olive...but other then that - characterliss. Decent nose led to nothing.
