Malt aroma with light hints of spice. Hazy golden color with a medium white head. Light caramel sweetness with a moderate bitter finish.

Bottle fresh from the brewery. Clear amber-gold color with a medium, foamy, white head and nice lacing. Surprisingly big, perfumey, hop aroma. Pretty bold flavor too with some sweeter malt, pine hops and some molasses. I expected something a little boring from the "Golden Ale" label but this has some character.

Golden orange with a white head. Medium sweetness, light cereal grains, some mid-level citrus and fruity hops. Real nice mouth feel on this. Easy drinking, nice tasting, refreshing. Perfect for warm weather drinking.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 pottygok (221) - Ohio, USA - DEC 5, 2010
Aroma: Nothing unpleasant, but nothing noteworthy, either. Caramel malt with the slightest hint of citrus hops.
Appearance: Clear golden color with a minimal white head that quickly disappeared.
Taste: Nothing much here--lightly sweet, lightly bitter. Well balanced, but almost to the point of no character.
Palate: Medium Body, thick texture with lively carbonation. Slightly bitter finish.
Overall: It’s a decent beer, drinkable, but nothing so standout that I’d recommend it to a friend or seek it out over something else.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 jsquire (2461) - St. Marys, Ohio, USA - SEP 5, 2010
Deep golden color with a thick off white head. Light bready nose with hints of a citrus hop. Some light fruityness, apple, apricot over a bready malt backbone. Harsh grassy hop finish. Uninteresting pale ale.

Another beer I sampled while on vacation in the OBX. The beer had a very clear gold-amber color with a very thin white head that had short retention and light cling. The beer had a malty caramel aroma with some touches of fruit, and grainy hops. The flavor was sweet and malty, with some caramel. It was wet and low in carbonation and fizz, with a thin to medium body; not particularly exciting.

Pours a clear golden amber with a thin off-white head, with decent lacing. Some sweet hops are in the aroma, along with malt and honey. It has a very sweet palate with taste of honey malts and hops with a very mild bitterness. Overall a well balanced beer. I need to visit the brewery, as I live in VA!
