2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Poor, very poor. I drank a Stone IPA, then a homebrewed wheat beer, and then this. I don't know if I can finish the drink. A thick, foul malt. There's a bit of hop, jumping about, but it's the malt that kills the beer. Thoroughly unpleasant. It sticks in your sinus, cloyingly, and tastes skunked, but by design. Displays perfectly the difference between a good beer and a mediocre -- no, awful -- beer. To those who define this 'English,' I've just come back from England and not come close to a beer so frightful. Drink this and drink newky brown with a hop flower.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 10/20
Maybe the bottle was spoiled, but this is the most overly effervescent beer I've ever drank. While I suspect here are some good flavors in there somewhere, they're hidden in some extreme bubbles
