COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
St. George Spring Lager is a classical example of what many consider to be the original lager beer. Amber-colored and medium bodied with a rich, roasted malt character this beer has a smooth, slightly sweet malt flavor with traditional German hops providing a noble, perfectly-balanced hop bitterness. A slightly fruity, dry finish tops off this style as does a thick, creamy white head.

Keg @ Station 2. Light chestnut brown with a creamy white head. Nice toasty nose. Roasted nuts, moderate caramel. A touch of singed grass and berry. Mellow toasty malts. More caramel and brown bread. Slightly spicy hop bitterness on the finish. Just a bit of butter. Light, deft. Moderate carbonation. Overall a very solid vienna.

Roasted malt and some bread aroma. Copper or amber in color with one finger of head. Malt, some tangyness, bitters and some kind of after taste. A little watery. OK beer

The feeling I get from this brew is not much.....Taste is watery and amazingly absent. Pour is nice brown and has a beautiful thick head.

Herbal slightly bitter hoppiness. Light toastiness. Not too much malt sweetness.

12oz bottle. I’m not huge on lagers, but I’ve been loving this one. Pours a dark/reddish hay with a slight head. Smells and tastes more like a toasty pilsner. As a "Spring" beer i think it does the job perfectly. Light, refreshing, nothing offensive.

From the tap poured a straw color with a fair amount of head. Grassy malty flavor with a quick finish.

Tangy malty lager aroma, malt beginning with a zingey spicey hop finish, Slight sweetness in the aftertaste. Tastey enough to be above a lawnmower brew

Faint, slightly pickled aroma. Clear, ruddy-tinged amber with a lacing head. Bad label. Malty, sweet, slightly spicy. Graham cracker flavors. Medium light body, spicy finish. Bottle, Capital Ale House, Richmond.

Pours a clear-copper, with a small beige head. Aroma of toasted malts and bread. Flavor is very earthy with malts and grain. Finishes, with a mild bitterness, and very clean.

12oz bottle. Small beige head atop crystal clear amber body. Aroma is moderately sweet, bread/caramel, some orange, light earthy. Taste is moderately sweet, caramel/bread, earthy/grass/orange, some lager yeast lemon. Light-medium body, fairly crisp.
