22oz bomber via trade, sorry trading partner I forgot where I got this but thank you whoever sent this to me. Poured a medium density, slightly lighter for an Impy stout, with a smaller sized foamy beige head. Aroma of dark chocolate, vanilla extract, syrup, iced black coffee with just slight milk and sweetener, honey on lightly burnt toast. Yes this smells sweet and burnt at once. Full bodied with light carbonation and a coating milky mouthfeel with just a slight hint of ABV. Flavor of burnt dark chocolate, vanilla extract, burnt toast, prune and plum skins, dates, burnt raisins. Solid beer. Word of advise if this is cold the aroma is not there and the flavor is dulled, drink this one once it warms up a bit.

22 oz. bottle shared by Andy- thanks again, Andy! He’s our local St. George hookup. Pours a dark, deep brown- not really opaque, with a small tan ring for a head. Aroma of roasted malts, coffee, chocolate, black olives, earth, and molasses. The flavor is sweeter than the nose, with caramel and roasted malts, molasses, raisins, toasted brown sugar, and a little earthiness. Medium-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a sticky mouthfeel. No alcohol present. Good imperial stout.

22oz bomber from a trade with DoctorB2B, Thanks! Poured into a snifter. Pours black with about 2 fingers of frothy dark tan head. Aroma of coffee, brown sugar and roasty malt. Taste is light bitter and very lightly sweet. Coffee and brown sugar. Medium-full bodied with a thick and creamy texture. Lively carbonation and a long brown sugar finish. Overall, this beer is great. I would love to age one of these and try it again.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 VAbeersnob (7) - Seaford, Virginia, USA - JAN 29, 2012 does not count
This beer was quite good. This beer pours nice with a good 3 finger head. The aroma has a brilliant chocolate and molasses thing going on with it. The taste was very nice. It offers chocolate, malt, and a nice sweet taste. The body was creamy and not as thick as I was expecting. The finish was average, malty, and smooth. The ABV was hidden very well. Pretty good for a local beer. Good winter beer.

22oz bomber split with the Madison crew. Smooth chocolate tones, maybe a hint of licorice. Excellent, quite drinkable. Some oily burnt roast. Subdued, mellow carbonation. Some eastern European feels, light pungency. Interesting, not overbearing.
