May 30, 2006 Cloudy weizen, brownish, creamy top. Ripe banana, yeasty character, fresh good nose .Medium bodied, smooth dunkel a bit soapy at finish. Respectable beer.

Dec 14, 2006 Bottle, at the brewpub, October 2006. Hazy copper bronze, thin off white head and gentle condition. Pleasant sweet toffee and banana fruitiness in the nose, soft sweet and slightly fruity in the mouth with a gentle background banana note, lingering fruity sweet finish with muted banana.

Jul 22, 2003 Hazy brown. Very slight brownish head, stable. Nose is pure banana - not much else. Banana in the taste again. Some wheat, and indeed here are some cloves. Typical sourish wheat taste appears in the aftertaste. It is less distinctive than South - Bavarian Weizens. I think Franconians should stick to their own specialities. Not that is is bad.

Oct 10, 2003 Nice wheat mixed with chocolat aroma. Didn't find any banana Joris but I liked a lot though. Ruby color, hazy, beige head, very good lace. Very sweet, too overwhelming, some banana, hint of chocolat, very soft, hops not to be found. Disappointing flavor after a promising aroma.
