50 cl bottle, BBE 12.10.2012
Aroma has lots of malt with some caramel, chocolate and hints of hay. Flavour is malty with chocolate, some coffee, bread, hints of alcohol and berries. Nice and rich doppelbock, even though there is some dry element that disturbs me.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottled 50cl. Ordered from www.bierzwerg.de. It pours very dark beer with a medium sized beige head. A lot of DMS throughout. Sweet. Apple and marmite are very present. Some icelandic moss sneaking in. Low bitterness. I didn’t enjoy this beer at all. Overrated.
