Dark brown body, light brown head. Aroma is sweet with banana, chocolate, bit bubblegum. .Flavour is quite thin compared to aroma. All the chocolate nad banana are gone, leaves only some sweet malt in aftertaste. Some raisins and bit watery palate.

(bottle) Cloudy, brown colour with a big persistent and tanned foamy head. Berry-fruity aroma with a tinge of banana and a moderate wheat-character, accompanied by notes of cloves and caramel. Mildly sour-tart flavour, light to medium bodied with a pleasantly modest carbonation. Good balance between fruitiness, delicately toasted malt and present wheaty notes; mildly sour and bitter finish with toasty and slightly grainy malt in the aftertaste. Enjoyable Dunkelweizen. 24.XII.11

Recht gut.

Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts quite yeasty, modest fruity, a bit woody-malty. More and more dry. Finish a bit unbalanced, so not too drinkable. Had better dunkelweizens.

Bottle: Chestnut-amber to deep amber coloured , hazy, big besten-egg-white-like tanned head, typical sourish-fruity nose with cacao, toasted ˇalt and a distinctive phenolic-clovey tinge in the background; light to moderate sourish-sweetish flavour, light to medium bodied; cacao - or coffee- in the sourish-fruity finish. A bit unbalanced, a bit too sourish… the Lagers are better!

Bottle. Nose is heavily phenolic and wheaty with a little gush of mineral water air. Murky chestnut brown body with a sudsy tan head. Crisp, highly-carbed medium body lightly sweet with wheat and resolving to pretzel. Clove remains, minerals back off. I tend to ding DW’s pretty hard (consistently muddled execution of a questionable concept), but this is absolutely one of the better I’ve had in style.
