Day 2 of the post Xmas Bamberg Jolly, bottle shared outside the brewery tap - Buttenheim, 25/01/14 mind the hoover ! Murky dark chestnut brown with a moderate light beige covering that retains. Nose is bready malts, brown sugars, toffee, light spice, bitter fruit twang, ripened banana skin. Taste comprises toffee, dark malts, brown bread, nana, clove, dark fruits. Medium bodied, light spritzy come prickle carbonation (a little over pitched for my liking), semi drying close. Ok but much better out there in this style.

Bottle. Brown colr with a light beige head, easy formation but with a medium duration. Aroma has notes of toasted malts, wheat, light red fruits. The flavor is slightly sweet, good maltiness with a good presence of wheat, dry fruits and note of ripe banana. The final is slightly sweet, honey traces, light dense on the palate.
