3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle @ YNWA, Kolding.
Pours golden with a large, creamy and slightly off-white head. Aroma has lots of pilsner malts, sweetness, light grassy notes and a touch of pine. Fine, light and a bit dry mouthfeel. Flavour starts of with some slight metallic off-flavours, though a good dose of sweetness covers it up quickly. Weak bitter hoppy finish. Refreshing and nice.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Warm golden with a nice head. The aroma is sweetish with notes of malt and candy sugar. The flavour is sweet, a bit too sweet, and it has notes of malt, wet grain, straw, hints of candy sugar and very light bitterness. The overall impression is a rather thin beer camouflaged by sweetness.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bügelverschlußflasche: Chestnut coloured, slightly lacing mid-sized off-white head; herbal, slightly metallic hops and shy vegetables in the malty/toasted-malty nose; solid sweetish-bitter flavour, medium-bodied; fruity, sweetish, caramelly and a bit toasted-malty finish with a light bitterness in the aftertaste. Not bad, not very impressive....
P.S. This was Zimbus Drachenblut; I wonder if its similar to a GOLD-Märzen......
