We brew the strongly hopped Keller Bier traditionally according to an age-old recipe and then let it mature unbunged in deep vaults. Naturally cloudy; with bottom-fermenting yeast rich in vitamins, this very drinkable beer is frequently enjoyed out of a stein.

Pours clear copper color with a small head. Aroma of malts, caramel, grass and mild hops. Flavour of caramel, malts, mild fruits and hay. Very nice and clean brew.

Draught @ Fermentoren, Copenhagen. Pours a golden colour with a white head. Aroma of grains, caramel and hay. Flavour of caramel, strong grainy malts, grassy hops and some herbal notes. Medium bodied, slick mouthfeel and high carbonation. Nice kellerbier.

Pours clear golden with a small white head. Aroma of butter, grassy hops and farmyard. Taste is sweet, hoppy and slightly buttery with some yeasty notes. Finish is grassy and fruity. Quite balanced.

Head: off-white, medium, frothy. Colour: dark amber/brandy, slightly hazy. Aroma: quite faint, hops, fruity, caramel. Carbonation is flat: Taste: way stronger than aroma; quite hoppy and caramel, some spice in the long finish. Body is medium and quite good for keller.

Bottle at La 100 de Beri, Bucharest, Romania. Pours clear dark amber with a frothy white head. Biscuit, a little tropical aroma. Light bitterness, very drinkable. Light body, a little watery, short, bitter finish. Drank on 31.3.13, bb date 13.4.13 and still hoppy!

Draught at Kachelofen Gasthaus, Bamberg, Germany. Poured a clear mid-brown colour with a one-finger off-white foamy head that retained well and laced OK. Low carbonation. Aroma mildly of malt and floral hops. Taste balanced between malt and spicy hops. Light body. Long slightly bitter and dry finish.

Countbeer (4031) - Best of E-Town mit ein Brauhaus, NETHERLANDS - APR 3, 2013
Bottle Small to medium sized thick and vast creame colored head, slowly changing into a vast and thick, thicker lacing on top of a light cloudy amber colored beer. Aromas of roast/toast, liquorice wood, wood, malts, some herbs. Flavours of chalk, crispy malts, some herbs, a sprinkle but still well present sprinkle of bay leaf, bitter, hops, good bitter (that keeps with you for as well as after the aftertaste... Aftertaste is good bitter with some malts, toast, herbs and a light bay leaf tone. Low carbo, soft close to silky mouthfeel, very good medium bodied (just a bit more) and a light watery texture. Very nice, crispy, good bitter and flavourfull beer.

Bottle. Clear orange with a small off white head that leaves a bit lacing. Aroma is hay, grass, nuts, light grain, bread, light vegetables. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter. Medium body, oily texture, medium carbonation. Good lasting bitterness in the finish.
