COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We brew the strongly hopped Keller Bier traditionally according to an age-old recipe and then let it mature unbunged in deep vaults. Naturally cloudy; with bottom-fermenting yeast rich in vitamins, this very drinkable beer is frequently enjoyed out of a stein.

Draught@Eulenspiegel. Ceramic mug. Mediumsized white head. Aroma is rather vegetably hoppy as well as bready malty. Flavour is hops, grass and some sweet malts. Balanced, but the vegetably notes makes it a bit unpleasant.

UPDATED: JUN 21, 2011 2011-02-16, bottle from Getränkemarkt Grimm Schweinfurt (probably 6 months old), 5-4-6-2-11=28
Hazy copper color; generous head. Light malt aroma, very light vegetables too. Some malt flavor, dry but with a round mouthfeel, dry caramel too; the malt is more present than in the average bottled beer, but the dryness turns into a strange metallic feeling in the end; low carbonation, as promised; correct bitterness, and also the feeling of heavily refined sugar in the palate. Easy.

2010-02-25, draught at Charlie’s Pub, Copenhagen, 7-5-6-2-13=33
Amber color; creamy head, hazy, persistent. The aroma, grassy, with brewers malt, is inviting. The mouthfeel is quite dry, there is some cereals flavor, strong bitterness, and an ashy final, therefore not as interesting as expected in the beginning. Beyond everything, I really miss an aromatic Continental hop here...

2005-06-11, bottle, 6-3-7-3-13=32
Hazy amber color, thin creamy head. Light aroma of hop. Some malt; sweet caramel taste, strong bitterness. Quite good.
