St. Georgen Bräu Pilsener

Clear golden with a medium white head. Sweet malty aroma with hint of caramel notes. Flavour was somewhat sweet with malty notes and grassy hops towards the finish.

Golden and sparkly. Rocky head. Fresh, hoppy aroma. Very herbal character. Bitterness is actually fairly soft. Fresh, bready pale malts. A slightly subdued offshoot of their hoppy kellerbier.

Bottled (BB 10/2009). Courtesy of bierkoning, ty Edo! Yellow color, mostly vanishing white head. Light flowery hops in the nose. Quite crisp carbonation. Citrusy hoppy, a bit fruity flavor. Some honeyish notes. Clean and reasonably tasty although not earthshaking.

Draught@Eulenspiegel. Golden colour, small white creamy head. Aroma is malts, hops, some yeastyenss as well as mild fruityness. Flavour is malts, some slight notes of berries as well as yeast. Pleasantly balanced.

(bottle) pours a clear golden colour with a foamy white head. aroma of piney, floral hops and light pale malts. flavour is the same, with more pronounced, honeyed malt notes. medium body and carbonation, bitter finish.

Draught at the brewpub. Clear pale golden, smal head. Light grassy nose. Mediu dry with rounded mouthfeel. A git grassy with resiny finish. Very streamlined pilsener. Below average by Franconian standards.

50 cL bottle, trade with Maria. Pours clear yellow with a creamy and chalkwhite head. Nice citrusy hops aroma, clean. Flavour is mild citric hops with a subdued sweetness. Delicate and crisp. Smooth citrus fruity finish with a mild level of bitterness. Great!

Bottled at Eulenspiegel, Bamberg, 500 ml. Gold with white head. Lemony, hoppy clear Pilsener, quite dry and pleasingly nicely still. refreshing on a baking day. Reasonable.
