Cloudy, with a thick, level head. The aroma is full of apples and bananas. Big fluffy banana with light yeast and hints of wheaty acidity in the finish. Dry, complex example.

Bottled. Unclear, hazy orange beer with a white head. Pleasant aroma with banana and cloves. A bit too thin mouthfeel with some sticky oilyness, tastes of banana, citrus, cloves and malt, and a finish with fruits and some spices. Not a classic I think, but a good refreshing beer. (061215)

Hazy pale yellow with a medium white head. Sweet and yeasty aroma with wheat and banana. Flavor had yeast, banana and wheat. Finished dry.

´"St. Georgen Weiss Bier Original Flaschengärung". Bottle. Pale golden colour with a big nice creamy and bubbly average lasting white head. Sour aroma, citrus and lemon, wheaty, yeasty with some maltiness. Dry hoppy good mouthfeel. Flavour is sour, wheaty and fruity, yeasty, hoppy. Some bitterness in the long lasting dry aftertaste. One of the better Hefeweizen beers.

Bottled (BB 08/2009). Hazy orange color, medium-sized white head, lace. Dry banana, yeasty aroma with notes of apricot. A bit tart-acidic wheaty flavor, reasonably good body for 4.6 % brew. I am not sure if light lemony sourness is intensional, if so, I am not totally impressed. Anyway good to see this kind of weizen in Finnish supermarkets

Pours pale, hazy yellow. A medium, frothy/creamy white head. Great duration, some slight lacing. Aroma has lots of pleasant banana, good fruitiness and some grainy malts. Fine grainy and lightly creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is softly fruity, and NOT too sweet. Fine flowery hoppy finish. Nice!

Golden, hazy with a huge, white head. The aroma is spicy with notes of banana. The flavour is slightly spicy and sweet with notes of banana and citrus in the finish. Average. 1940

Bottle. Frothy white good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. Light malty and moderate hoppy aroma. Some fruity esters. Light bitter nice flavor. Orange and pineapple notes. Light bitter average finish. Oily palate. Ok hefe.
