2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Cask at GBBF. It pours amber, with a thin bubbly off-white head. The nose is sulphur, leather, wood, old fart, leaf and a touch of spice. The taste is wood, leaf, leather, some bitterness, earth and subtle egg, with a dry, lightly bitter finish. Light-medium body and soft carbonation. Boring.... if this wasn’t from Worcestershire (missing county tick) I would have steered clear....

Cask, handpump at The Hop Pole, Aylesbury, Bucks, 03.02.12 Pours dark amber with a white head. There is a decent bitterness and fruitiness, but hang on what else is there? Ok there is absolutely nothing wrong with this beer but if truth be known it is a touch drab, and as many on here would suggest this could be described as a BBB A6 A3 T6 P3 Ov12 2.9

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Hand pulled at the Wellington, Birmingham. Fairly rubbish Bitter. Thin, weedy mouthfeel. Initial metally twang, with a bitter orange maltiness that wipes it’s miserable feet across my tongue. Actually not that bad.
