Cask at the Whey Pat Ale Festival, St Andrews. Dark golden with a white head that dissipates quickly. Nose is malty but very minimal with some dark fruit, plums? and some sweetness. Mouth is bitter with some maltiness and some hop bitterness creeping towards the end. Finishes painfully dry - not one to have on a lunchbreak.

Cask@GBBF2008. Amber colour, not much head. Aroma is dough, some leathery notes as well as mild yeast and flowery hops. Flavour is wooden, caramel malty, leathery and has some mild rotten vegetables in it.
