COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Translation from French:
The Saint Ginglin Blonde is the Triple’s little sister. It is a part of the tradition of beers of great taste. It’s a top fermented beer, non centrifuged, unfiltered, non pasteurized, refermented in the bottle and thus naturally saturated. A subtle mixture of hops and spices gives it its fruity notes. Soft, it develops a lovely aromatic complexity. The St. Glinglin Blonde goes well with all the dishes of our region and can also be drunk as an aperitif.

330 ml bottle. BB A/15. From saveur-biere.com.
Came out of the bottle like a rocket. Cloudy golden colour with a big foamy white head. The delicious aroma is yeast, hops, mild fruitiness and mild spices. The flavour is more harsh with bitterish yeastiness, mild fruitiness and some mild peppery spices. A bit watery.

Bouteille 33 cl achetée au Arden Brew Fest. BB 02/2015.

Clean to hazy golden body with medium head. Quite yeasty body, fruity malts, simple and fuller malts. Taste is cleaner, simple malts and light bitter only. Underhopped and cereal. Not disappointing. (33cl bottle from L’Abaye de Saveur)

Bottled (thanks to my parents!). Yellowish golden colour, small white bubbly head. Aroma is mild zest, herbs, grass and some mild wooden notes. Quite mild aroma. Flavour is sweet fruits, mild toffee, yeast and some mild spicyness. Smooth.

Bottle at Craft Beer Clerkenwell thanks to Ian, 09/03/13. Hazed pale blonde with a thin white head. Nose is lemon, yeast, spice, herbal notes, touch of the old fairy lipsquids! Taste comprises lemon, grass, spice, herbs, hint of soap but toned don compared to on the shnozzer. Medium bodied, light spritzyness in the carbonation, dry and crisp finish. Ok.

75cl bottle at CBC Clerkenwell, London. Thanks to Leighton. It pours a pale yellow colour with a large white head. Aroma is mostly citrusy and bready, some yeast. Taste is lightly hoppy, citrusy with some bread and esters. Quite dry in the finish. Another good one from this brewery.
