1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
8/10/13. 22oz bottle from Warehouse. Because of RateBeer’s partial word search (which I LOVE), I searched for "St. Ides Passion" because I knew it would bring up this listing... then I felt like I was entering some sort of religious moment or a fanatical movie. Anyway, this "beer" sucks. Fruity, rocket fuel, weird orange color. Gross.

2.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
bottle courtesy of the Tuba, PhD. pours a hazy gold, small white head, goes away quickly. aroma is like a box of runts, but still very sweet. taste is much the same with a little CO2 to break it up. good stuff. the sweetness seems to be quite a bit up front, but fades. still a sweet finish though. good stuff.

1.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
(bottle - 22 oz) Cloudy orange color with almost no head and very light carbonation. Aroma is a mix of orange juice and passion fruit flavors. Overly sweet passion fruit and fake citrus flavors in the taste. Not much else. Similar to the others from these guys with all the fake, sugary fruit juice concentrate flavors.

Pure sugar but the ladies would drink them by the gallon when we were younger. Lightweight fruity status.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
weird hazy orange drink color, reminiscent of a really good hefe. No head. Smells fruity in an acrid sort of way. Fragrances of melon, apricots and passion. Taste is sweet with no sign of bitter ale bite, has some malt liquor alky flavor in the background, but just barely. Could be a little more bubble on the palate. Finish very odd, yes its fruity but I also get this unique lingering feeling like I just ate a bowl of sugar sweetened Cheerios. A little rude on the tummy, once inside.

Wow, this is really a Kool-Aid ’n’ gin drink here. I’m sure that Boone’s Farm has a drink that tastes just like this. Mango/orange Crystal Light (because I believe in me) meets Safeway Select vodka meets Shasta Diet Pineapple Soda. That’s all.

A horrible malt liquor with a touch of fruit. For what it is, a cheap drunk for college kids I suppose you could do worse.

0.6 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20
22oz bottle. Sweet passion fruit/guava aroma. Hazy orange-yellow with no head. Very sweet passionfruit flavor - no malt, no hops, not even fusels. LIke drinking a fruit juice mix. I can see how this is popular with people who just want to get drunk but has absolutely NO beer characteristics at all. Hate to steal someone else’s description but ROGUE nailed it - this is fermented Snapple. And I think the description meant to say complements (as in completes) versus compliments (praises) but then again...

0.8 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20
Another terrible beverage that should not exist. Too sweet and sugary to be considered anything related to a beer. It is more like a fermented snapple.
