On the basis of ancestral recipes, this relatively light blonde, remains faithful to the principles of the monks who populated the old abbey of Belgian. It refreshes intelligently, and will charm the thirst in hot weather.

Pression at a restaurant, La Musardiere, in Giverny near the gardens. Copper color with a slight white head. Light fresh aromas of caramel and floral hop. Med. body with good, smooth carbonation. Flavor is slightly smokey, somewhat floral and lightly malty. Over all, malty and floral. Maybe there was no smoke. Finishes with a mild touch of wood and rather dry.

Bottle, 6.5%. OK fruity aroma, hint of white wine. Almost clear golden colour, small floating bits, getting quite unappetizing at the bottom. The flavour is yeasty and fruity with a slightly rough finish.

Bottle, bought @ Willems, Grobbendonk.
Pours clear darkish golden with lots of floaties. Nice, staying, frothy, white head. Aroma is malty, light green apples and doughy malts. High carbonation, fine mouthfeel. Flavour is perhaps a bit raw and harsh, quite malty, yeast, apples and light hoppy dryness. Fair belgian, but a tad dull.

Bottled(330ml). -Dark golden coloured, small white head, dusty mild spicy nose. The glass was full of floating yeasty particles. Quite simple belgian ale; sweet malty, fruity and decent spicy with touch of vanilla in rather dry finish. As I already said simple and pleasant.

Hazy golden-orange body with a small but delicious lacing head. Spicy coriander aroma with some malt and sourish yeast. Refreshing mouthfeel, sourish flavor of yeast and malt, tons of coriander, moderated carbonation. Some citruses, orange peel, some must taste. Sourish aftertaste, coriander stays on the tongue.
