On the basis of ancestral recipes, this relatively light blonde, remains faithful to the principles of the monks who populated the old abbey of Belgian. It refreshes intelligently, and will charm the thirst in hot weather.

Dirty orange and quite cloudy. Nose is a little abrupt with some strong spice and corriander notes. More of the spice in the mouth with some noticable bitterness and sour notes. Does feel a little clumsy to be honest and some overt alcohol heat doesn’t help. Interestingly I picked this up for $3.75 at a competitor which gives me some confidence I can sell for close to $3.25, so in the Oz market good value for the style.

Sampled at Delerioum, The hoppy loft. Short and thinn head. Almost clear golden color. Small cara aroma. Dry fruit and caramell taste. Small body. Long biterness. A bit booring. The alcohole content clearly nooticeble.

Boa Blond Ale.

33cl flesje via drankgigant.nl Alcoholpercentage van 6,5% Uitgeschonken in Grimbergen glas Uiterlijk: goudoranjekleurig met mooie dikke schuimkraag, veel carbonatie Aroma en smaak: fruitig als perzik, Belgisch gist, zoetig, klein bittertje Conclusie: niet zo'n hoge beoordeling. Mondgevoel is goed, smaken kunnen me bekoren. Goed alternatief van de Delirium bieren. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

33cl bottle. A hazy golden beer with rocky white foam. The flavours are dusty and malty, even grain and stable. The taste is very subtle, with a nice soft yet long bitterness and much sugar. Some notes of citrus are enjoyable, but it lacks carbonization.

Bottle 33cl. Yellow with a white head, nothing special. Head is not very firm. Aroma has your standard malts. Taste is very bitter, bit spicy with a very dry aftertaste.
