Aroma a caramelo y dulce de leche, tambien a azucar quemado y algo licoroso. En boca es dulce, y alcoholica pero bien equilibrada acabando con un amargor notable.

Bottle. Dark amber/brown with big beige head. Aroma is malt, yeast, dark fruits, candy sugar, caramel and spices. Flavour is malt, caramel, yeast, dark fruits, little candy sugar, medium sweet, spices, little plume, hop and a little bitter.

Bottle. Nice creamy head with good duration. Color is dark brown. Aroma and taste are rich fruits, caramel, malt and hops. Nice and sweet but not sickening sweet.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours brown in color with tan head. Sweet fruity, portwine and wood in aroma. Feels dry. Not that tasty. Malty sweetness and some hints of a bit boozy brown sugary like notes.

Hazy nutbrown to reddish with medium beige head, that turns into decent stable layer.
Aroma.. intense bready, bonbon, bit hoppy and moderate malty. Yeasty.
Sweet with bit of sourness.
Decent brew, for me it was something interesting that I would like to repeat. Good price/performance

Pours deep hazy brown-reddish with white creamy nice head, a bit line type lacy on glass. Aroma is sour-sweet, very sweet fruit, bong-bong like, some tones of ginger, vanilla, yeasty. Taste is sweet, very light sour, in late stages comes a bit bitter from hops. Finish is mild dry. Good body. Overall very nice beer after bitter example, a bit confusing about style. But liked it.

Deepest ruby, almost black; off white bubbly uneven head; smells tannic and vinous, a little yeasty, enticing; well carbonated; a little spice next to sugary malt and plummy fruit; on the thin side; too sweet; average Belgian

Bottled, gift from my mother (fascinating to see she knows exactly which beers i haven’t had before). Dark brown colored, lasting brown head. Malty nose, toffee, molasses, iron. Initially sweet flavor, some iron again, then finally some roasted malts shining through (a bit like Westmalle dubbel), perhaps far in the distance even some Flemish sour features. Somewhat bitter finish. A bit heavy for a dubbel. A nice, but non-spectacular Belgian dubbel.

Dunkelbraunes Abteibier mit viel feinporigem Schaum. Sehr malziges Aroma mit Anklängen von Karamell. Im Antrunk vollmundig und im Geschmack primär malzig mit leicht bitteren, nach Kafffee ausklingenden Abgang. Gelungen!
Anmerkung: Mein Bier hat 8% Alkohol.
