Sregnar35 (661), Rotterdam, New York, USA Jun 22, 2005 Updated: Sep 19, 2005 Not a bad belgian, nothing worth going after though. There’s just too many good belgian out there to hunt this one down.
NoiZe (954), Zeist, Netherlands Oct 4, 2008 Orange colored brew. Fruity aroma. Flavor is fruity, soft. Some spices. Some herbs. A bit carbonation. Overall a nice tripel. austone (463), Turku; Pori, Finland Sep 18, 2008 BBe 2003. Murky rusty orange, coarse white head. Slightly mineral, syrupy aroma with sweet pear, honey and little caraway. Sweet alcoholic, mineral flavor. Malt syrup and a herbal, dried fruity finish. This hasn’t aged all that well, reminds me more of Budelse than a tripel. harrisoni (5382), Ashford, Kent, England Sep 8, 2008 Bottle from Dranken Geers. Attractive clear deep gold. Lasting head. Tripel aroma with spicey crystallised citrus fruits. What can I say, it’s a tripel. Went rather well with the chilli and lime tortilla chips that I was eating. Yep, pretty standard tripel. Borresteijn (588), Amstelveen, Netherlands Aug 11, 2008 Bottle @ Café Gollem. Hazy golden/orange colour, big white head. Aroma of sugar, malts, fruits and alcohol. Taste is fruity, sweet and malty, some spice. Lots of carbonation. Good one if you’re into something sweet. foodtraveller (26), Belgium Jul 20, 2008 Good beer with haze color. Taste on the fruity side with sour, hop and some bitterness. Good carbonation. Not bad but not a top beer.
