Serving: Draft at the brewpub. They said it was a stout and by the description, I would tend to agree. The color was a very dark brown with no head to speak of. The nose had slight notes of roasted malt and molasses but overall was rather weak. The flavor wasn’t overpowering but had a nice balance of light milk chocolate, coffee, and roasted malt. Could have used a little more body, but decent considering the temperature outside. The alcohol was well hidden. One of the better brews I had of theirs.
